This happened to me, when i was trying to change an item image in my browser based MMORPG....nothing seemed to help. So i tried to find something in the browser settings/options. I found out that in firefox, you have to go tools->options->content->and check a check box saying Load images automatically. It seemed to help me.

where can I clear the Cache?

And where is the "Create Main Gallery Thumbnail"?

Something that might be related... in User CP->Attachments

When I click on the button "show thumbnails", it does not show any... I think it might be related to the problem...

To clear the cache in Firefox: Tools-->Options-->Privacy. There are options at the bottom (under "Private Data") to clear your cache.

To edit or create your gallery, click on "Edit" under the very top banner of the forums. (Between "Forums" and "Gallery".)

Be aware that the gallery is not working properly right now and may give you some trouble. That is being worked on.

    thanks emily..

I see now... but in fact my problem was with the thumbnail of the sketchbook, I thought it was the same, because I didnt know that this kind of feature existed.

Do you know how to put a thumbnail on the sketchbook thread?

The first image you attach to the first post in your thread will become the thumbnail. Use the attachment feature, which is the button that looks like a paperclip.

I'm sorry about that. Some people are having problems with that and I don't know what the answer is.

I'm having the same issue of not being able to change my thumbnail. I'm actually wondering if it might be easier to delete the gallery and put up a new one to resolve whatever database issue is at fault. I don't actually see an option for deleting the gallery either.

Hmm, I don't think there is an option to delete your gallery...at least not one that I can see. I would just be patient, as there is a whole bunch of stuff being redone right now and the gallery function is part of that. Thanks.

It's still not possible to change the main thumbnail of our gallery. It's like that since months.. any chance to have it fixed?

I think the whole gallery feature is going to be updated/redone, so it's not a simple fix. The current video workshops are raising the money for the new tech. I'm sorry it's taking so long, but thanks for your patience.

I'm wondering if we're any closer to finding a solution... I really dislike my thumbnail and would love to change it (you can probably deduce by now that I'm having this exact problem).

I appreciate the work you all put into this site! I'm keeping my fingers crossed with this issue.

    Thanks!
    Ken

I wish I could say when things will be fixed, but I really don't know. I think Jason is busy with the launch of TAD, but I know the forum update is really important to him as well. Thank you for your patience.
