    Remembering Istanbul

It is almost a year since my girlfriend and I have visited Istanbul. This is a great city with such a strong atmosphere, rich history, flavor of Asia...
While recalling those beautiful days, I stared this painting. I assume this is not an actual Turkish folk costume, but rather result of my imagination. Some nice memories put on digital canvas, nothing more. The main point was to play with the details and custom brushes. Hope you like it. C&C are welcome.

The folds surrounding her face are great, but that kind of contrast doesn't continue throughout, and it should. The clothes look great right now, but if they had the same attention paid to them, they would really be outstanding! The lady's face also looks kind of flat, like it is lacking some dark darks and light lights, you know? It looks right now like her nose, cheecks, chin and forehead all stick out the same distance with the lighting on them. Keep pushing!
