I'm kinda anxious to see what you did with your ten seconds. You have so many character ideas fleshed out, I wonder which one you will animate?

Thanks for all the comments kiddos I love to hear I've incouraged or inspired a fellow artist- it makes me all warm and gooey inside!

Also, your sketches have so much energy and weight, and you are losing some of that in your cleaned up drawings (cartoons that is heh). Mostly I think that it's them just standing there that makes them look so stiff. I understand this is for animation purposes so that's fine, but try and give some character to their standing poses. Shift some weight around, have fun with it
The arms isn't conscious but I do prefer too long over too short. Maybe I'm just over-compensating Fabulous advice, I'll try to be more conscious of it in the future.

Thanks Dracken! - I'm still in the honeymoon stage with SC2 (zerg ftw!) It has eaten into my drawing a little, but I'm sure it'll pass .... I hope

Anyways, can't update without an update! I just got back from a trip home to Newfoundland so here's a sampler from my sketchbook on my journeys! Then I'm going to do... something...

Thanks for the comments always appreciated.
I'm glad you like the blue pencils MightyAppleJacks.

Here's a sampler - pink is work doodles, white is subway sketching!
Bit slow on the digital stuff- my tablet is KO and my new cintiq is delayed until the 21'st. Should be some binge art once that gets here

Cool characters as always. I like that cute rabbit at the bottom.
    Also really nice gesture practice.
I think that painting in post #212 was turning out pretty good!

Thanks Voodoo - That was the last piece painted on my now departed intuos 3
Thanks nettle! - I've actually been working in the animation industry for a few years now. I really have to make an attempt to get some of my more recent work put together. Season's ending-- demo reel time >.<
Cout<mecha- I adore my job. I kind of feel like I've tricked them some how, I animate explosions, smoke effects and all kinds of awesome stuff - then they give me money!!
I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

Today's contribution are some work sketches (I render times) and some subway sketchyness.
My shiny new cintiq is still on back order so I've been out of commission for a while on everything else. sigh... hope to have it by middle of next week *fingers crossed*

Hiya =) I like your stuff =) Think you have improved over the last few months =) Your line is a bit cleaner =) It looks like you're doing animation or art for it.. =) I watch Disney a lot too, particularly the older ones cuz I'm not really into their newer stuff tbh.. =) Mmm, no crits atm really, your latest enviro is looking spiffy =)
