    The two faces look very similar...the nose, eyes, ears, and head shape look almost all the same. What I'd do is draw some portraits from reference and do some studies of the head structure. Try to put some variety in your lines too...it's all very thick. Making progress though, keep it up

    I really like those comic book cover designs, especially the lighting last one. My only critique would be that for that third cover with the Medusa head, it looks a bit odd that she has no shoulders. I also really like that the snakes draw you back into her.

    wow, haven t updated in a looong while...

    okay, so i tried to do some life drawings, just like in the thread made by rusko-berger (hope i got the name right) in the mentoring subforums. And then somebody ate my orange, the last orange in the house ... and they managed that without destroying the folds around it.

    @Vardia: thank you. i agree, she looks a little odd. I was going for the a strange spooky look, but didn t come out right think she needed bigger eyes all arround her

    It's all about structure, life drawing, and gently designing your shapes with a little value control. Your off to a good start! Never stop drawing.

    DStraX: thank you, i will try to do more, but without anybody pushing me i get sorta lazy

    My57 : i looove Star Trek, i grew up with it. Although my favorite character was Data. Gonna get a kitten soon and his name is going to be Data, that much was decided a long time ago.

    BlackDelphin: gonna find the culprit for that
    natura asta moarta am inceput o intr o sambata cand ma plictiseam urat de tot. Se pare ca plictiseala asta imi prieste )

    mike butkus : thanks, i know i lack life drawing and it kinda shows

    danlucas : wow, that s one of the nicest things people ever said about my drawings ! I guess sometimes it s hard to get out of the fantasy land ? :p

    and since MY57, reminded me of picard here s a first try. My biggest mistakes are that his face should be wider and his nose is too small. But for a first try (seasoned with a little wine :p) i suppose it s ok.

    I think that you have a good sense of value but mostly in your black and white studies. Color is a little harder and it's something that I struggle with as well.

    Great to see so many studies here, keep it up.
    When doing still life paintings try to put down background colors first. then it's much easier to get other colors right.

    @loathsome : thank you. when i did those i was really relaxed and had lots of time, guess that s why they turned out nice

    @DStraX :
    would taking a picture of the apples on the counter count ? i will take your advice and try it

    @klandestineone: the problem is that i think i can see the right colour, but mixing it is a compleeeetely different story. I usually get frustrated and realize that i make the colours too saturated. And then i just have to take a break and leave it.

    @emil :
    thank you, that was very good advice. I ll try to do that next time i continue with the apples.

    Good start to your book, but you need to start doing more studies...especially if you are going to be doing portraits, start doing head studies...use loomis, or practice facial proportions from reference. Keep drawing!

    Hello mate. I am waiting for the surgery (im nervous haha) so I have some internet access.

    Answering to your question, yes i do something different. I upload them to photobucket, but CA doesnt really support that. They tell you to use the attachment system (the one you are using) but it just takes too much time and its time i dont have.

    Once i am done with surgery I will have some free time (no school tomorrow) so I can give some tasty CC to make up for this month i was basicly a ghost outside my SB. =]

    Keep it up for now!
