    'Android' style technique??

Hey Guys, (if this is in the wrong section / said before, just give me a nudge but i couldnt find similar...)
    Anyhu..
I've been trying to figure out, in painter X, how to get a more abstract feel to images. The best example i could show you would be any of android jones's work (My Love, artifact, etc) (i Know jump on the band wagon an all ) The use of the shapes seems just like a vector brush in photoshop... only better.. cause its painter But i really can't figure it out. The image hose seems nither use nor orniment and the rest of the brushes are geared more towards real bristle etc.

Any help would be greatly apriciated

    Thanks

The best way to figure out his method is by watching his videos.

Download one of his videos: http://media.massiveblack.com/ It's pattern chalk and the chalk pen, but if you try looking at his Fine Arts vol 1 (I'm sure explains it again in other vids too) not only will you get to see what he does, you'll be supporting the site by purchasing one of his videos.

He uses a lot of patterns and textures.
    And brushes such as:

    glow
    sharp chalk
    pattern pen

ect. I would, as you stated, buy Fine art vol.1, and test out these brushes ++ After all, it is how Andrew Jones himself found this technique and style which we all love! Through exploration of painter.
