    Tom's SketchBook 2009

This will be a pretty average sketchbook. The aim being to improve my drawing skills by posting an image in as daily a way as is possible for me. I am however 15 and I'm nearing the end of my GCSE's at the moment so that may not happen. Let's start the thread with a StarWars Theme! (After all who doesn't like starwars?) Here is one of the most badass villains ever made.

I haven't managed to keep up the picture a day thing so far but who really expects that to happen? Here is a landscape I painted in watercolours from a picture taken in New Zealand.

hey man really like the fett, looks great
the landscape looks good but there seems to be too much pure white in the foreground between different objects but other than that looks good and has a nice selection of colors.
    keep drawing

I agree the landscape isn't my best as the colours are a bit off.

Pretty good, try to make your lines more solid, and fluid in your drawings.

I did a quick hand study today, I botched up the shading a bit and the proportions look a little funny in my eyes but I'm quite proud of it.

I very breifly dabbled with my hand study in photoshop to see if I could overcome the shading and to add some colour and I think it works quite well, tommorrow I aim to do some faces etc.
