    My Pretty Pxelslayer

I started drawing Pxelslayer, but he ended up looking like something from a bishoujo manga, only with a beard.

Oh well, at least now you're as cute as your parents' pets.

PS I promise I'll do a better one of you in the future.

I couldn't resist this thread so here is a page out of my sketchbook from last week. I have a couple of heads in there. It is a great exercise when warming up. Also, we have a pic of myself. Cant wait to see what you guys come up with.

    Awesome, LAČ

    Insanity is the key!
Also, studies are a key. And passion is a key. Also, so are inspiration, motivation and dedication. Talent can be a key. Insomnia can also be a key, depression is a sad rusty little key. Damn, artists need one hell of a keyring.

Hi, it has been a while since I have been in here, but I decided to do portrait studies of you because more pictures were just a scroll away... what's more lazy way than this? Hehe This thread is a cool and handy place to study!

Drew in ink because I can't abuse the undo feature like I do in Photoshop and force myself to learn how to do it the neater way. My apologsis in advance if some of you didn't turn out right, but I tried, it's literally my first attempt doing this. I decorated your nicknames as well to match how I feel with you in the picture. Haha, hope you like my effort. I probably will do more like this in the future it has been fun!

I haven't drawn many faces or people before Shadow Stalker, or Intrinsik. So I'm sorry if these are horrible. It was still fun.

Hello, I want to thank Naomi-Parkes for posting her awesome tree bark picture because with my study lately, I was like, I gotta try something with texture to push myself further in my practice.. and viola! you posted it.. perfect picture!!

I have been working very hard on it for last few days and learned a lot by doing it. Thank you again! It's a honor and here's the original size, feel free to use it.

Also here's WIP so you can see how I do it. Any critiques are welcome, I'm trying to achieve photorealism feeling here with a bit of colorful touch... I think I still have a long way to go, but this is my best piece of all so it's good for me to see! Let's celebrate! Woohoo!

    Cheers!

Keyu and Kab, I love your sketches. It's great to see the same image drawn in different styles.

Dm7, your painting is amazing! Left me speechless. I'm glad my ref helped! The texture on the tree is so well done!! Can't wait to see your future works with your new tablet. I need a new tablet. I will have to keep that model in mind! No crits from me.

Seeing the phrase "dolphin jump" made me think of one thing: crappy poster for elementary school girls or stoners with horrible color schemes . It's been a long day.
