I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

I tried doing something like this over 100 years ago. Here's the link:

    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=33461

I didnt really know how to paint back then, but its fun looking back! Its actually over 4 years ago... I should have improved more in that time..

    http://conceptart.org/forums/showpos...postcount=7724

And um...I did have some normal looking and a couple of odd manipulated pics from years past:

And by the way, my nick Sadetar is Finnish and it means the Goddess/maiden of rain so perhaps I shouldn't even be that material after all. Nicely done.

Hmmm. Guess I could have stood to crop out those scanner artifacts around the outside. Weirdly, they didn't show while I was resizing in the GIMP.

Because I like being the first. I decided to do a loose painting/sketch tonight of Sentinel13. Since she didn't post any pic of herself, I lifted the ref from her sketchbook. Which you should all be following if you're not already. I'll bet she has many a weird and interesting things to show us in the near future.

Oh, and thanks go out to Black Spot and Grief. For taking on the challenge of drawing me. Nicely done! Always weird seeing oneself through other peoples eyes, but very cool. Keep them coming.

Everyone is making some great portraits. I'll see if I can't add a few more of my own.

    Anyways Enjoy!
