    always a lurker...

    Hello CA!

Looking to get back at doing some art and possibly get some freelancing gigs. Ain't happening if I'm not improving.

So thought I'd start sharing my work again so I could start feeling bad about it and actually kick meself in the ass to try and get better at it. This site has been known to do that to a lot of artists lol And I commend you guys for it.

Here's the only thing somewhat worth lookin' for now. It was my entry to CGtalk's Steampunk Challenge that didn't make the deadline (wehey for me)

More stuff soon as I go along. I dare say CnC welcome!

woah this is a really awesome piece. I love the sense of movement you captured. The way you bring the tentacles the machine all the way into the foreground with its razor blades is really appealing.

    What a sense of urgency!

This is pretty good. So really the only thing that I would like to see is the girl to be looking at the guy with real concern on her face. Instead of at me. That is the only thing that really jumps out for right now. Good stuff!

I really like the movement and action in this piece. It looks like it is almost moving. Here, let me shake my monitor.

Ha, also, you did a really nice job with the water. Those little water beads must have been a labor of love.

It looks to me like she is looking at the tentacles in the foreground (like they just burst out of the water and she turned her head to see)....so I think it works.

    Great Stuff.

@Turtlepaste: Glad you like the blades!

@J.Mac: Harbinger's right she's suppose to be looking @ that tentacle that just popped out. Probably shoulda lit her face more.

@Duman: nothin' like a good copy and paste method to get all those drops in there
