I love how the motion of the figure and the background cross and entangle in many of your pieces.
Excellent work! I especially love the pencil on tinted paper, but Daisy Dukes keeps me coming back! What a face!
Beautiful work. I love the richness of the oil pieces - the colours are gorgeous.
You are fabulous!

" the looking glass" is the most beautiful of them all.
"A drawing is not necessarily academic because it is thorough, but only because it is dead. Neither is a drawing necessarily academic because it is done in what is called a conventional style, any more than it is good because it is done in an unconventional style. The test is whether it has life and conveys genuine feeling."- Harold Speed

These are great! I would like to see more of your process if you could...
so nice expression in your last work "The Distance", she sure is far away...
love the rough texture against the pale skin.
You are definitely at your best when painting beautiful women - your grasp of form is much more sure and purposeful in these pictures. It is also where you are most 'yourself'. Nothing to be ashamed of, I feel this way myself, so paint what you love.
I like the white, curled floating girl picture you posted early on a lot - Is it called 'Blush'?.
Thanks for posting!

Thanks for all your kind comments!
Chris Thanks, I go back and forth on that one... More or less I paint what I feel when I feel it and try not to sweat the whole "pick a style and stick to it thing".

Great creations Thom, beautiful work!! I’ve always wanted to dabble in oils. They are so different and better than acrylics. But that’s what I’m used to.

Fantastic work.

My humble sketchbook (updates sometimes!)
I've used the same stock for ref. too but what you're doing with it is just amazing.
