the final resting place to those lost at sea. The island is the home of the tree of life, thought by its residents to be the lost garden of eden. Those who set foot on the island will never leave, and have no desire to leave.

    ()nion, Mishkin and James Wolf

()nion because the simpllisity of the style and the lightheartedness really appeals to me

james and mishikin because those are places that look lovely to explore and interesting adn benign.. I feel that they capture the "Paradise" part of the breif where many of the others had more of a "survivor" kind of feel

It should be a placeyou WANT to be
    good work all around
now go give em some High Scifi camp
    in the next round!!!!

Voted for ArtZealot. Big, crazy, and yet somehow peaceful. The first sentence in the description cinched it though. What else is there to say.

As for the rest, there's a fine lot of entries here, which can only be voted on for their technical merit. But since this is your own personal island, I'll leave it to others to do the judging.

Damn, i knew i would foget to take my entry to final burning!

I voted Mishkin. I think that entry nailed the brief totally, and your work has been getting better and better in these contests over the last few months, and this time i think your entry was the best of a good bunch.

    Awesome work everyone!

I'm voting Art Zealot, and James Wolf. Both fitted the theme well.

Art Zealot got compositon scale and mood down to the T. You've gotten really good dude keep it up. Saw you blog as well. Nice to what you been up to.

James wolf was a close second. I like the design of the rock formations. Really helped lead the around. Nicely executed.

Mishkin and Zimfin did nice ones as well.

There is a sense of peace in the large scale of the environment - it makes me want to wander there and find shelter.

Thanks for you kind words everybody! I voted for James but it was a tough pick this month. I think Zimfin did some great work, and I also like Merlin's piece. I'm having a hard time coming up with a planet for space vixens, but I'll give it a shot!

I'm voting for both ArtZealot, and Zimfin, excellent pieces , artzealot I loved the atmosphere in your piece and Zimfin, your concept is really cool! although I would be pretty terrified if I was standing that close to the edge haha.
