Comments and Critiques would be much appreciated!
(update) A lot of my sketches are pretty light. I can't run much on the laptop I'm on now, being that my motherboard is fried on my desktop. (made the mistake of turning the polycount too high on zbrush) -So! traditional medium it is! X)

Here we go again...The work in color is a bit older, but I felt the need to show something a little more complete...you know?...anywho!
my first daily drawing (oldman w/ gapping jaw...)
most of my sketchpad actually looks like this (drawing over drawing where I work out ideas an write dreams)
I don't know if these really count as a sketch ;\
white pencil on blk board

Glad you decided to make it a must. I like your last few pieces that are finished. If anything i would try to study more anatomy and composition. But then again most of those are just sketches.

Alright. I'd say my biggest most recognizable weakness is that I have a really hard time finishing pieces. I've though of a million reasons why and the come up with a million answers, so I resolve to finish these unfinished works I post in order to try and work through it:
I've been up on posemaniacs doing gestures drawings and doing some quick photograph reference digital studies.
I want to manifest my ability in any way, so if anyone would recommend a method or a comment, I'm all ears. ^^

I haven't been on in a while. I think there's a lot that life has to offer and devoting yourself to a discipline is a really hard choice to make when there's so many directions pulling in so many different ways. I also had to make some critical decisions on how to pool my resources.
Something that doesn't get talked about a lot here is how to modify your environment to be ideal to be an artist; removing distractions and such. I've always embraced a creative lifestyle, but that takes so many forms and a lot of time to explore that life raw material.
I chose a different path for a bit and to my surprise, it didn't allow time for creative expression. Creation has always been something closer to my core, so the best way I figure to do what I love is to just...well...do what I love...hahaha

Hey man, thanks for the comment on my sb. Yeah you're stuff is looking good. A good sense of value and your drawing is decent. Right now I'd really start to think about what exactly you want to do in the world of art whether it be illustration, concept design, fine art or whatever. Seriously ask yourself that question and then try to get really awesome at it. You're well on your way!

Great start Heliux! I really dig that white pencil on black board drawing. It has a great atmosphere. I agree with domo, keep drawing and during the process figure what direction you want to take your work and it will help you to become more focused. Looking forward to seeing more!

Hey folks. Thought I'd dust off my old CA account and start posting again. I've been over at the Daggers for the last year or so, but CA's pretty rocking and I've been trying to get better at doing "sweep" posts where I hit all the different account I have spread across the web. It makes updates exhausting... -_-'
