Not a bad SP. I think the plane of your forehead (above your left eye) is a bit too forward... it should slope back a bit more.

Are you practicing this for Nov 1?

May I suggest: See A. Loomis head construction. Look at the planes he diagrams. Then do the next few portraits analyzing where the planes would go on the particular face/head you're studying. I guarantee your work will jump forward.

I think you are heading the right
way. I would suggest doing more
    really quick anatomy/character
sketches. Just to get your poses
    a bit more dynamic.

I'd like to see you finish more to the standard of the girl with the gun. You can do it, now do it more. Cute panda - I want one.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

Nice sketchbook you got here, mate. I really like your use of colours which got a harmonical feeling to them in most of your paintings.

As a small critique I think you should work a bit more on proportions and facial feautures, since some are a bit off, like this one: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1257035142 If you bring his eye to the same level as the mouth, it would be partly inside of it while it should barely even touch it.

Think the five eyed cube method, like Mentler does it. --> http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...4&postcount=94

try using a different brush for her hair like one of those "comb" brushes.. or actually just look up how jason chan or other artists handle the stuff.

Wow those are some nice paintings... I am really loving the blue haired girl with the gun, but to add to what Krato said, try to paint the hair as a big shape before defining any of it, and be careful not to make it look like spaghetti. Keep it up!
