I think the web-designer that put that page together has some serious skills.
It reminds me of this:
I am more impressed with her vocabulary than her paintings...
Mir Space Station in Cherry Blossoms
Lapis Lazuli (Dragon with Gemstone in Mouth)
Dinosaur and Sentinel
All I see is a motivational website to allow abortion in the 8th trimester .
jessibean that's what i was thinking. who names all of her paintings? i dont think she does...
also, to be a contemporary painter, dont you need to know why you are a contemporary painter? what is the girl trying to "say" with her art.

wow now i can say that looks like a 1 year old painted it and be right. Honestly what do the parents expect from this?? money is the only thing i can think of not their daughter devoloping artisticly

ugh, so much is wrong with this, I blame the parents.. oh and 1/2 the art world.. or what we call art now adays.
Ya... well lets hope they dont let her eat the cadmium red
Blame the art collectors. They're the ones who mindlessly fuel and encourage this stuff. I doubt if any real established gallery is throwing money behind that.
Marketing > art
Where one person sees a sun-flares and a stupid horse I see a bunch of paint randomly thrown in. By that account, the tiles in my bathroom are just full of abstract artwork.
EDIT: As a side note, whichever art critic decided that those paintings should cost $2000 a piece just lost any credibility they ever had.

It will be interesting to read into the minds of people who would buy that painting.
Parka Blogs <- Most dangerous blog for artists (and their wallets).
Face it, kids are awesome artists :p
"Master storytellers never explain. They do the hard, painfully creative thing-- they dramatize"
I like to imagine that abstract art was drawn on rough/uneven surfaces... maybe the next piece should be drawn from behind the canvas altogether to see how that turns out. My suggestion is not from my lack of interest in this one but just an idea for the next.
Put these on white paper and they look like every other 2 year old's paintings.
Give the kid a colored surface, and a limited palette, of course it's going to look good.

Well, atleast she's not completely trashing a subwaycar while a friend films it and calls it art and gets support from the art-academy, like here in Sweden.
Oh and it is obviously her parents that put her up to this and uses her to make money.
Will help create kids if you give me a percentage of the profit.
Will ask for less if you're hot and female.
at least now when I insult abstract artisits I can do it nicely... hehehe me> "Oh My goodness this looks like Aelita Andre's work, who painted it???"...painter> "oh why thank you, I did, don't you just get the feeling of angst behind it"... me>*snicker snicker yeah snicker angst snicker snort*...
