    Kermit? Oh, no, wrong muppet...

You're right, though, I was not seeing far enough past the initial cartoon (which, being the dad of a g & b, is quite funny to me) -- a femme Yoda-thing (what the hell is he, anyway?) is very, very cool.

    scribbly scribbly...

I wasn't sure which races I'd get away with that haven't been done 100 times already so I started with human. Boring I know.

dwinbotp, that is looking superb, but to me her head looks placed too far picture right, especially after the addition of the final neck-area armor & stuff.

Holy cow, I'm terribly impressed with all the many incarnations of Sith Ladies here.

Adam S - that little Yoda's sister is kick ass haha I think it totally fits into the brief.

and Tommoy - most of the beautiful women I know are the most wicked :p

I am loving all the movement and dynamic poses I am seeing, it's a weakness of mine, I'm just settling on getting proportions right -- foreshortening appropriately is still rather beyond me. So well done everyone, some great alive sketches so far.

The only crit I have really so far is for Grenogs, I think a lower saturation over all for the BG would serve the image better -- just do a quick and dirty layer mask, you dont need to repaint anything. But right now everything in the image is the same saturation level and it makes it sort of flat.

Here is an update, still figuring out colors, etc

Nehrala: Watch her right forearm, it's rather short

Another update. Lost one saber, and inserted some force power. More cape, hair and costume work.

@ Wiggers: John, her right boob (her left) looks out line and very wide (in comparison with the other one)
    Like the armour design

I'll be joining this one late, work first, then fun

Pixeltuner -- her offside leg looks so hyper-extended as to be nearly broken, doesn't look 100% stable to me.

Here's where I'm at. I had my sketch all squared away, and in the middle of painting her face I decided to completely rethink my shapes. Her attitude is stronger now, but in terms of finishing it's a big step back. Dead eyes and a demolished city in the background, fun fun

awwwww I'm sooo dissapointed! I just found out about this CHOW this morning and today is the only day I can work on it! I leave to Florida for Megacon in like 2 hours, so here is all I could muster up. All the entries so far look cool, there are some pretty interesting ideas.

This chick is a kaminoan sith from back in the early days when the sith ran deep. She always put more emphasis on her powers and not so much on lightsaber technique. Even in combat, she tends to move as little as possible, preferring to keep an elegance and grace to her demeanor.

Oh how dissapointing, I thought I was unique with having the only Kamino gal around. Just kidding, love that you aswell chose the race, they're so unique and spooky and fit the sith somehow imo. I really like the outfit you gave her, that pelt fits very good with the long neck, makes it look a bit like an emu (it was a compliment ).

Just one thing with the kamino gals that I noticed while drawing mine, the eyes are pretty big (if you want to go the movie way), so imo you should make them take up a bigger space of her head. That's my only critique.

Hey everyone! Great entries thus far... a bunch of them I can't wait to see fully realized.

I haven't done a bunch of critiques yet, because I haven't finished a solid enough sketch for me to get critiqued on...

I hate to pick you outta the crowd, Sentinel13, but I like where this one is headed and I hope that my critique can help this one come forward...

HA! my buddy here at work made the suggestion of a Kimono outfit for my female Sith. I said I think it's being done by many...

Actually I got the idea by going to see a cirque du soleil show. The dancers had these outfits where they wore kamino-ish heads and necks over their faces. THe masks extended like a foot and a half over their actual heads and the effect was really creepy. Thanks for the crit man!

maxpaint - I like the use of space. Want to see more
BlackGuy - I gotta agree with LordM. The eyes are one of their most distinctive features. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kaminoan I really enjoy the rest of it though
Burmak - very dynamic, can't wait to see more.
Adam Schumpert - I do not want to meet her...ever. Very nice.
Pixeltuner - Great armor and flow.
Wiggers - Very nice design, but something seems off to me in her stance. Might just be me though.
Tommoy - very nice, very dynamic, want to see more.
Remton - I know it's still in progress, but watch the 3/4ths rule.
dwinbotp - She looks very cool, she seems she'd be just as at home in Rome as Star Wars.
DecayingLolita - Not boring at all. Looks like she's gonna kick some serious butt.

Here is an update on Darth "Binks". This stance is going to be a problem isn't it? Would it work better if I moved her belt more to the center?

Not sure about the belt, but I'd take a look at the stance of her feet again. Given the position of the rest of her body, we shouldn't be seeing all her toes from 'head-on' (APPLY DIRECTLY TO FOREHEAD!).

I wield my pencil like Scottish warlords of old bore their claymores onto the battlefield: art is a weapon both subtle & cunning,
all the more because you never see it coming. Art is my craft and my passion; my first love and my last romance.
So I nestle my brush in the swancurved bend between thumb and forefinger, purr to it soprano sweet,
stroke my canvas till it cries out vibrato on the downslide and sings sweetly back its love for me.

Well here is my update for today, World of Warcraft Arena Tournament servers are up and I haven't even made a character yet, let alone my Naxx 25 raid tonight

Tried to fix her arm length (thanks for that catch) and started adding in the dress and lightsaber/lighting elements. Still have LOADS to do.

I clearly fail in the interesting and cool department - need to work on that.
