Oh my good golly gosh! Love your creatures! : ) Will take some time to browse these.

Did you, by any chance, read Parasyte?

The serpent looks marvelous. The variety of textures is looking really good--did you use photo textures as a base for the smaller scales on the head tentacles, or was it done entirely from scratch?

Argh, I'm having trouble finding something to critique here--the design and coloring are impeccable. I'm sure I'll come back later with some petty compositional gripe, but until then, well done, really.

    Rishima: Thanks!

    Rob Powell
    : Thank you!

    GEB: Thank you, hmm maybe!

Si_Swe: Thank you very much! Yes it seems that this version finally captured the look I wanted as I'm still quite happy with it.

Kiwizoom: Thanks, and yes I have.

Meps I used some iguana skin texture that I turned into a brush as well as adding quite a few details by hand.

Life has been crazy but here are some new sketches! Most of the figure drawings are 2 or 5 minute poses, some 7s 10s and a couple 15s. I also wanted to share with you the news that one of my pictures will be in Spectrum 19! I sent in both the Karnicore and Tigerpede pictures but I don't know which one got in yet, just that my name is on the list of accepted artists.

Congrats on getting into Spectrum. Love the creature sketches, big fan of your crazy half-mutated pieces. Those bat-sharks are pretty hilarious. The segmented-carapace quadruped is super nice; reminds me of one of the ones you never finished for the "Black Beauty" round. I'd love to see that concept developed further.

Yesss, I've been waiting for this update for a while. Congrats on getting into Spectrum! I'll keep an eye out for your pieces!

Fantastic figure studies, too--I really like how you're using simple lines to track all of the plane changes on the form. For 15-minute-and-less studies, they look really, really solid.

Awesome sketches mate! I particularily like the serpent with the funky writing next to it. I actually like the writing too. And of course those figure studies are great. You have a good grasp of control and precision in your linework. Those sharkbats are epic!

Art is not about competing against others and being better than everyone else, but it is about competing against yourself and discovering your greatest potential!
