Here's my final, straight out of the HuisHoudBeurs!
Didn't quite finish it as I wanted to, but I thought I should upload it anyway.
    Again, great round!

Yay! I finished my first CHOW. I'll probably keep working on this, there's a lot of things that I want to change but didn't have time. I wanted to capture a very scary dynamic scene, one that captured the essence of my impressions I had from hearing these stories when I was little. I don't imagine that Baba Yaga always looks like this, normally she looks like a fairly scary old crone, but her face contorts horribly when she unhinges her jaw to accommodate children... whole. The color scheme is meant to make the scene look barren and cold. I only used reference for the screaming baby's expression. Congrats to everyone took part!

    Awesome round everyone.

I approached mine a little differently this week, wanted to try out some different techniques.

I wanted to go for something between the times she's out terrorizing people. I often hear her associated with mother nature and everything, so I wanted to incorporate some of that into her without her looking to inhuman.

Done, but could still work on it.
Lots of good stuff so far, great CHOW everyone.
Went for a 'Rackham' feel, kind of a Grimm's fairy-tales (lost the feel on the way though!)
Ended up more Brian Froud - but that's good too!
