Red face High School cant stand genitals.

Well, in the past when i whipped out my sketchbook in class --while the teacher was babbling -- when i start sketching usually a person next to me would start chuckling when they saw one of my human figure designs/studies with a half oval where their groin is. So now im making a larger and much better picture to bring to my teacher along with other human figure pics with the full penis. I wonder how things will go...

Anyone else have these problems in highschool?

Also its usually only penises not vag's becuase im practicing male anatomy which includes the genitals.

I think you're safe sticking to the half oval. I don't think the cock has anything to do with rhythm, balance, movement, proportion, etc. of the nude male figure from the mind.

Save it for live drawing or privately at home (however you roll)

Uhm... you're in high school... what do you expect?
Mental maturity of a lot of teenagers isn't exactly at it's peak yet.

I remember one of my first few life drawing classes at tafe, the kids there just couldn't grow up. I wanted to deck them when we had our first rubenesque female model.

Mine does. It also seems to control most of my decision making.

Yes, yes, yes. High School is where the scum of the world flock. Where all levels of stupidity and immaturity bleed and fester and rot the minds of millions of students. Oh, I hate it so. I too get made fun of quite often for my art, luckily I don't take life drawing at High School, it's at a college. Every single day I roll my eyes and cringe repeatedly at the stupidity of the conversations I hear at that dreaded place. I honestly wish that the fires of perdition would destroy me and grant me redemption from that place...

Scum of the world, hmm? How about the Burmese army? Annihilating and killing their own people just...because? Mortaring their refugee camps, their only place for safe harbor, burning them to the ground, raping the women, hacking off the arms and legs of the men and burning them on stakes, recruiting the boys, and seeding landmines on their way out, for more than 60 years now?

Any of those guys go to your school?

Anyone who is throwing a big stink over seeing a penis or ass or whatever in a drawing is very vulnerable to criticism right back if you are creative with your words.
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
