Battle of the Sexes TD--Ladies Post Finals Here
This thread is for the posting of all final entries by your gender team ONLY. You can post WIPS if you feel you need some help, but make sure we know what your final is for the poll.
Try to keep trash talk and chatter in these two threads to a minimum, unless you're offering advice.
You don't HAVE to post early--you can wait til last minute, but if you would really like to get some input from your fellow competitors, this is the place and time to do it...
I know most of the Ladies have probably been using the Ladies Only Forum for this purpose, so just to be fair, we're making it possible for the guys to do it, too...just in public.

i think if you seprate the shape of the shoulder from the shoulderblades a bit more it might really help w/ the arms

You generally need to beef up their torsos. Especially C, because his torsos needs to be wider to even support arms like that. Also, guys dont have waists that skinny generally, plump them up a bit.

Just one thing - The A's legs don't match the body - too big/thick.
Other than that just great Spaz.

It's all I do

Ok fine.... I'll put mine up as well. I'm about an hour or so away from being done anyway. Hey, do I have to put a big frame around this with the challenge name on it like CHOW when I'm officially done? I hope not...

Shan', just make sure I know it's yours, which I know by your posting it. Nothing else needed.

shannanigan - Lovely work, absolutely love the texture on the tree and background. I'd like to think it adds a certain quality to the work. Regarding the subject, I find it to be a fascinating statement regarding sexism. I mean, I see a black, brown, and white male bonding together in "brotherhood" to deny the female. Awesome piece.
Spaz - You already know the crits as to anatomy, so I'll add softness. The image appears too soft, I think that you need to add more "sharp" shapes!
The men might provide the frame for these shapes. In regards to subject, I'm am greatly disturbed by anything having to do with the YMCA.
Black Spot - Your piece, it's composition, seems familiar to me. I just can't place it.
kelly x - I love this idea, the concept resonates with me. That said, I think that it suffers from softness. I think it would be interesting if you rendered the background sharp, leaving the figures soft. Maybe, even rendering their clothes with sharp folds as well. This, kinda, maybe, signifying the structure of the institution in opposition to the "soft" organic patients.
Well, I hope these help, I mean, I have a hard time with crit'ing others work, as I have little idea as what I'm doing. Think of it as a sharing of my thoughts.

I messed about tons with my composition before I was happy with it. It would be interesting if you find out who you were thinking of.

Yeah, I mean seems so fucking familiar. I just can't place it. Now, I'm not trying to accuse you of a PO or "lifting" of someone else work, it just seems familiar. I'll leave it at that.

Hee, you should see all the different combinations I did.
Ilaekae, I don't think you can save the above picture as it's at flickr, so I uploaded it to my SB here
