    Hey,

First I did some studies from frozen movies/shows. The first one is from the newest Supernatural episode, love that show, kinda happy with it.

And the second one is from pulp fiction when samuel jackson just did his speech and is about to shoot the guy (spoiler alert).
This one I am not happy with, but I learned some stuff about why it sux so it's still useful I guess.

    And then some more anatomy

And finally some more monkey business.

    Okay, so lets see.

I did a still life study yesterday night.
    Name: 17-11-2009.jpg
Views: 2124
Size: 79.6 KB

Then today I did some sketches for a design of a tree of life of sorts (bottom left and bottom right). The idea is that he spawns in some desert/crappy area and creates life.
    Name: 12.jpg
Views: 1156

Worked it out in photoshop quickly. Basic composition or sumthing.

    Howdy,

    Another boxer study
    Name: 19-11-2009.jpg
Views: 1116
Size: 51.2 KB

And some big guy being absorbed by small black things. Not dynamic enough and the anatomy seems way off. But I do think some things are starting to sink in slowly.

    Mooarrrr updates.

Did some studies from the Dave Rapoza stream,
    Loomis full figure studies,

Loomis heads + full figure from imagination

And finally, a still life. The light started to fade outside while doing this, very annoying.

    Howdy,

Another life study, quite bad one. The plate seems way off and the colors are all in the brown area which makes em not pop out.

First, another freezeframe study from Supernatural. I loved the way they showed that an angel had died. (The wings were supposed to be burned into the road)

    Hiya,
Another update, lotsa drawing in my sketchbook. Also started at a new school, where they draw a lot. So I think I have... 6? A2 size Still life drawings lying at school, and a 9hr live model drawing.
Which makes me happy, lotsa drawing=good.

    So time for the update.

First, the final page of my previous sketchbook. A bioshock tribute I guess, kinda happy with it. Inventing the pose and stuff, still far from perfect. But good enough.

Then, some drawings from life, at the museum and just random doodles from my imagination.

Man that took me a while.

Had to scann everything, archive everything and then upload everything. And finally make the post presentable.
Now if I get some awesome feedback it'll all be worth it

    Peetaer Thanks

Okay, time to upload all my stuff I've done at my new school so far.

First, a study of Salvador Dali I did during my lunchbreak, saw his picture in a magazine and just had to draw him.
    Name: 12.jpg
Views: 758
Size: 172.3 KB

Then, a page of my sketchbook.
    Name: 10-11.jpg
Views: 756
Size: 233.9 KB

3 Acrylic and 2 Charcoal studies I did at the school. Sorry for the terrible picture quality, took some quick shots and turns out I moved while taking them. But I guess the general idea is still visible, there wasn't that much detail anyways.

And a model drawing I did, 9 hrs total. First time I did something like this, was fun. (HB and 2B graphite)

And finally a fold study, graphite.

great sketchbook - amazing life drawing... definitely get some more of those out. Observational stuff will help you improve so much, so keep putting a few of those in there with everything else.

Knoxie Thnx man, it's all about the progress.
Texahol Thank you Devin, I'll be doing these life studies 3 full days a week at my new school.
Rommen Thanks for stopping by and paying me a compliment.
monotony thnx, really enjoyed doing them so I'm glad they are appreciated as well.

So, time for another update. This time mostly sketchbook stuff, I have also been producing giant model drawings and some more fold studies. And I even started practical color theory at school, messing around with oil!
But that'll have to wait till I bring it all back home.

So for now, just some pages from my sketchbook and a very random digital painting.

Oh, and my scanner decided to give out while I was scanning the final pages of my sketchbook. So that'll have to wait till next time.

spaztastic Thank you, glad someone likes my sketchbooks

    Howdy,

Lets start this of with something digital. I did this today, tried to keep it loose. Rendering with color rather than endless rendering and losing the idea of the excersize. I'm satisfied, still far from perfect but good enough for a study.

    Name: 21-03-2010.jpg
Views: 686

And then some more pages from my sketchbook. I've also been drawing in a larger sketchbook, mostly drawing people. But that's A3 sized and doesn't fit in my scanner well. Might take pictures some day. But not today.

Okiedokie, time to show you what I've been doing at my new school.

    First. Still life studies.

Next, a crappy color study. This is the only one I felt like showing, the rest is just.. no.

    A painting of a sketch I did.

And finally, a buttload of model drawings. I have loads more, but I made a selection to avoid the crappier ones.

Oh, and a very old portrait I found. Did it 2-3 years ago but I kinda like it.

I also have some stuff from my sketchbooks. But that'll have to wait until next time.

    Hiya,

This feels like a smallish and unworthy update, but I felt it was time for an update and I couldn't find one of my sketchbooks so... I dno, more to come I guess.

Lucdehaan Hey, I'm really liking my new school. Just drawing all day every day, yeah. First year is over and I managed to get accepted into the second year so I didn't lose any time.

    Update time!
Some sketchbook pages. And some postcards I've been doing for school.
