kevin_ Glad you find them any good. Thanks.

Ambiguity I'm happy how it turned out either i have a lot of problems when it comes to depicting someones character, as i almost always screw up the eyes to mouth to nose proportion. Will have to focus on it.

    BludHund Wow, thanks buddy

    p sage Thank you :]

tsabu Well I've worked hard to be where I am now, thank you.

Lightship69 Well life is not beautiful for all, i sometimes like to depict that. We should always remmember to help others how we possibly can. If i'd get some decent amount of money in the future i'd like to go and help some of those kids in africa, teaching english and art for a period of time or something like that, who knows.

    Kapil Thanks

BlackDelphin haha yeah it's an honour i guess 2 lines of glory

As for updating more often, it's going to be impossible right now ( about 3 more weeks ) as i've got myself a season job and i'm working really hard in the summer heat getting up at 6.30 AM and coming back home from work usually round 7-8 PM. So when i'm get back tired as hell I usally just get a shower, get to eat something, watch a movie and go to bed, without even touching the computer or a pencil. Still saving $ for the Watts atelier, and when i'm fairly clos ethe US dollar price went crazy high again due to all this shit with Greece's economy which now shows in Spain making whole eauropean economy unstable. I'm not even into politics and it still does mess up my life, what a douche

That's why i need to earn more this badly, leaving me time and energy only for the weekend to draw/paint.

Danny_K Yeah I hear you, but it's messed up by improper lighting which I had to enchance manually by levels sliders in photoshop, that did mess up overall balance quite a lot. As for my health, well what can i say, i've learned to get used to the fact that i'm screwed It's way better in the summer since i do a lot of physical activities i.e riding a bike, which speeds up metabolism and ic an get rid of the bad stuff faster ^^'

Ok to not post without any picture here's a work in progress study.

some cool sketches here, the apache is really nice except his mouth is crooked, the right side is off balance, do you flip the canvas when you draw faces? I can't draw a face without checking by flipping.

Hi matey I agree we should do something to help those people out , but I think it should be to help them get their own act together, some of these countries have large and rich metropolitan cities and yet still have starving masses living in mud huts for crying out loud. Give them the means and the skills to help them selves is my dream.

anyway enough rambling I actually wanted to say the Indian is great it looks like and old photo, distress the edges and put a crack over it in photoshop and it would look like a photograph from 1880, fabulous matey.

all the best to you as usual mate.

Oh man CA sucks balls with this new look! it's less readable for sure...

Anyhoot i had a huge break in drawing/painting and i'm slowly recovering, i got really rusty.... here's some stuff.

    A longer speedpainting:

30 min sketch in painter, using oil pastel, it got way too blurry.

Trying to implement some comic book style into my linedrawings:

    And an elven chick portrait:

I've got some pencil sketches lying around, will have to scan them in anytime soon.

Wow, the last two posts with anatomy was awesome! Nice penmanship.

What are you studying from? Think I recognized some loomis in there but aren't sure.

The pencil sketches are from Hoagarth and the digital muscle study is from some anatomical illustrations for doctors.

Here's a personal concept. Jungle statues. The figures are just slapped in there so don't hit me too hard for it

I like this concept, the touch of the sun here and there gives a nice effect and the figures don't ruin it XD

I agree the statues are a plus, and we have the little indians for scale too so yes mate it works well (IMO).

I like the last two girls sketches too they have a classy feel to them, it almost feels 1950s era to me, I dont know if thats what you were going for but thats what I get. It might be the hair and the pose that is doing it for me whatever it is though I just like it.

good job and all the very best to you my mate
