Hey, man, thanks a lot for your comments in my sketchbook! I don't use painter anymore though ^^

I think your anatomy studies are excellent. Keep them up.
In your latest drawing the rendering is also great. Really pretty, but I think it eclipses the lineart of the drawing. I don't really know why the lineart doesnt hold up...The perspective you chose certainly isn't an easy one. Though I think it is mostly the hair and face that I feel are lacking.
Excellent sketchbook you have here, keep it up!

your digital colouring is fantastic. and your studies are wicked and frankly I am impressed with the work you put in! never stop.

I love the latest wip, but somehow http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...9&d=1237397663 has a beautiful kind of depth and definition to it that it kind of loses with the highlights. could be you just need some really clear, unfuzzed bits of shading in certain places, just to make it pop.

brilliant work though! can't wait to see more

Perspective is always hard. Since you're mostly drawing human figures anyways you should work on anatomy for the time being. Use reference, and don't start adding details until the form is correct. It may seem weird, but drawing the underlying form of the figure often takes longer than the details. Using stylized figures is good, but you have to understand the original anatomy to make it work.

In the latest painting the horizon line would be much higher, cause it feels like you're looking at him from above - the perspective is above him. Your ground has a way too low horizon line, unless the sky(?) behind him is a wall. I really like the colours and the drawing though. Keep at it.

Well it looks like your anatomy studies are helping, there are still some kinks here and there but it's getting there. I'd say do some more figure work that isn't just focused on underlying anatomy, but on gesture, pose, proportions, and surface anatomy.

That colored piece is looking great, I really like that style you've got going on.

Incredible work indeed. Your colouring also beats the heck out of mine haha.

Hey, thanks for dropping by. =)

Lovely studies you have here. However, there are some proportional issues when you're drawing from imagination. The most common mistake is that the pelvis and legs are too short. Otherwise, good work. I'll be keeping a look out for more stuff from you.

I really like your sketching style! Especially the way all your lines are clearly defined. That wip's lookin great too, but the way you have her muscles defined makes it look a little like she's cracking. Maybe defining them by using a slightly more skin-tone colour well smoothe it out a bit? Unless it's the look you're going for, of course

You have some incredible artwork going here, my friend! Just astounding. Every picture is very well detailed and life like, even the studies you did with people in various poses. I don't know what to really say but just incredible stuff! I really have to make a note to come back here every now and then when I get a chance to see some more great art! Keep it up!
