    good start

Work some more on your line quality (vermijd 'schaatsen' met u potlood)

Cool stuff you got going. Totally love your studies, I should probably also focus more on studies instead of stupid random drawings etc. Some sphere colour/lighting studies would do me good. I'm sure I'll be seeing more from ya soonishly.

Yes, this piece is a school assignment, we needed to draw a throne room but
we weren't allowed to draw a character on the throne.
But I didn't hear that when we got the assignment and I started developing a character first.
So I've put it on the side of the throne (on the flags)

The style should be neoclassisisme. (german style from the time of hitler.

outcome of the character (got distorted a bit when I added it into the painting)

Ooh you have already progressed quite a bit form your first page!!
You lost the anime touch, and started working on your anatomy more. Great!

Your proportions seem fine, even though you made her thy a tad over the usual length, i take it that was deliberate.
Her shoulders are a bit to far aside though, and her pose still feel so stiff...do more poses, posemaniacs and perhaps individual anatomy studies.

    Start some bridgman studies!
If you prefer a different style, more like loomis, or hogarth, in any case, have a look at this http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=131117 and decide for yourself what you would prefer to work on.

And thank you for your visit.

great progress from the first page, keep it up!
and i like the character you made and really love how you painted her outfit but i dont really feel like she matches with the throne room, i think that room could have used a lot more elements to make it more realistic and believable, because when you look at your character you can see that you do have an eye for detail, just use it more

Your last 3 posts have shown a significant improvement in form. You're really levelling up. I like your style!

@BlackDelphin: Thanks a lot, I just started shortly on my anatomy skills, I'll try to improve with the tips you gave me. Also my teacher gave me A HUGE feedback on the girl (which wasn't the assignment at all ! xD) Also thanks for the ebook link, I saw it some time ago but lost it!

@Lav: Thanks for the reply, the reason there is a huge lack of detail in the throne room is that I first did the character and then started with the room but I ran out of time so I wasn't able to do all details I wanted to add. Also I didn't really consider to create the throne room for the character. I was thinking of making a kick ass character and a female throne room. But I should got furder than simply using a pink throne.

@donafall The last 3 post were all assignments for school, I find myself always stopping near the end, or even half way. So I never got the finished drawings I should make. With the school assignments I got an extra push factor to keep going on a drawing even when I'm bored of it.

Some quick doodles I did while I took a break from studying math and C++ (tomorrow I need to start on philosophy)

Tried some value studies today with some traditional media:
    charcoal and value markers.

@icarus2912: Thanks , I keep trying to draw more!

@Hannez: The perspective has a minor perspective error in the left wing, but I've chosen quite a extreme perspective which gives some weird distortions.

My sketchbook from the last couple of weeks.

Forgot to update, this is what I entered due to time limit.
I'm going to try to make a self portrait every week or 2 weeks when exams are finished.
