great imaginaiton.i suggest that take some time to keep the last post going, and i'm sure it'll return you a wonderful result
wow you are 13 year old? your good for your age!
keep up the good work keep your fantasy!
Tanks for the coment in my SB mate! Im here to return the love!
Follow everyones adwise and just keep on drawing. There are some really good exercises though.
exercise 1, draw random objects from life, your not allowed to draw the same line twise. This exercise helps clean up your lines making em less "hairy"
exercise 2, Draw random objects from life. your not alowed to draw outlines and lineart. You are only allowed to draw the shades and hues. This helps you with realistic rendering if done at a regular basis.
It might be boring and not as cool as drawing Cool costumes and monsters but it will help your drawings of cool monster and sweet looking armor in the future.
Now hope you find the exercises useful and not to borning.
hey.....youre truly good for a 13 year old kid....wonder where you are in 5 years or so.....keep at it STUDY i voted for anatomy and hairy lines. actually values is necessary, too, referring to this harpy thing....desings and ideas are pretty cooooool!
keep at it!
B-Man: I will certainly try those exercises, thanks
Jatherip: thanks man!
My shit scanner misses all my lighter lines, but here is some poop anyways. I got 2 90 second drawing,

Hey man! good start ! Keep at it for sure nice seeing improvement in your last from the first page. theyre less scratchy ! Also have you checked out loomis ? his figure drawing book is great to study from for anatomy
keep posting man!
@ dished: thanks man! means a lot. Yeah, I have loomis' book, but only in a digital form, so I haven't gotten round to it yet. I am doing drawing from Bridgman every now, so I figure I'll start his book once I'm done Bridgman's
@ N1va: that's awesome Nick! Thank you
All right folks, got some Bridgman studies here. Also got some sketches and stuff, but my scanner doesn't appear to like them, so I'll leave them out.
Hey Swordhand! Haven't checked in here for a while. Your cartoon stuff is great, the bird saying BOK cracks me up. Good to see you doing those studies, the lessons are definitely helping. With the last image try to push and pull the values a bit more and if you can cast a shadow! I always tell people that, shadows are your best friends in terms of adding volume, just remember to stay consistent!
November 22nd update..
Tried a landscape from photo, got really stagnant towards the end. didn't feel like working on it anymore so the final result is terrible! took 2 hours.
Next is a drawing of my apartment.
Next is a bunch of heads, some with reference (the ones that have R's above their heads) some not (those with N's) The ones I am unhappy with have X's on their foreheads.
