Nice work on the portrait. Great colors, details, etc.

Love the work on the last portrait!

The tattoo looks a little flat right now and I don't get whats going on with her hair on the left hand side. Is it suppose to be blowing up in the wind? I think you should just get rid of it it looks strange because nothing else is blowing.

Oh my those details and colors... I love the clothes on her head and around her neck...
The tattoo is a tiny bit odd but what bothers me is the jewellery on her forehead. It's very clean, sharp, with that soft shadow, it doesn't fit the picture and take focus from the girl too, at least it did that to me. It's a bit strange that even her eyes are somewhat soft, all the sharpness is on the objects.
    Just my thoughts...

I'd cover that ear with more hair as it's looking a lot thinner on that side. The rest is gorgeous. Love the richness of the whole thing.

hey, just a little suggestion for the portrait you're working on: you could probably sharpen some edges, I think that it's a bit too soft around the features atm
    hope that helps

look at you alex! all pro that recent digi render in the portrait is hyper realistic. not really a fan of that sort of aesthetic but i can see how much you've grown with that image alone. comparing it to your other works, you have a varied sense of style which is nice. can't wait to see what you have cooking up for your next update.

    til then my friend!

Great work, especially that portrait! Though, I do prefer your more 'loose' and painterly works.

Your last portrait is great! I like the colors and the busy style. I think her hat might need more values on right the side (blue side). Keep up the great work and thanks for commenting on my sketch book!

awww really cool stuff going on here man!

However the last one with the 3 figures looks a bit stiff and the pose in your mech knight seems a tad uncomfortable. - But that's being knit picky.

Overall awesome stuff and I can't wait to see more :3

Heyhey folks. Well back from Spain already! Was a good break, but missed cold ol England too much, no place like home right. Last year was a pretty crap year art-wise, didn't get much done been sick since almost a year now! but Spain helped, think I needed a bit of air and sunshine - I guess becoming a freelance artist you have to look after yourself, take proper breaks, relax, socialise - don't make youself ill people, cos if you don't have your health...

Anyway, good to be home and new year always brings new surprises I really want to study more and work less - I slowed down on studies way too much when I started taking freelance jobs and tbh I still don't know jack sheeit about art and picture making - so this year I want to learn to draw my own characters with backgrounds and learn posing and design, composition stuff better Lots of stuff so I best get cracking! I feel it's back to basics but do it properly, or try to at least!

VooDoo Mama - Thanks very much

    Ste - Thanks man!

    Nicky - Thanks broooo

    Mila - Thx!

Tugelbend - Ha, getting there I guess!

    Kungfoowiz - Thanks man =)

Sean McClain - Thanks very much, you too!

JephyrX - Thanksies, yeah good to come and go I guess as long as u get a good balance =)

AllyAlbion - Thanks very much! hope to have new stuff soon.

    Pawed - Thanks very kind!

Black Spot - lol ok i'll try

My57 - Thanks! Yeah I need to practise dynamic posing and such more!

Various sketches, airports, streets, random stuff, some old master sketches, bridgeman, trying quite a bit of pen stuff, it's good not have a rubber sometimes, or sketchlines etc. I'll try do some more finished sketches soon

Started daily Gestures this week! Gotta get back into this stuff - varying times... 30sec up to 5min.

    Random unfinished sketches

Study I worked on in a couple Crimson Daggers streams, dwarf from the Hobbit - love those designs!

I like the girls with the colour. Sort of dreamy but vibrant.

Great update as usual, buddy. Those figure studies look brillent but my favorties have got to be those 2 ladies near the bottom. Thats where your at your best, with images like those.

Quick question did you use custom brushes for those of the standard round?

    Love to see more updates.

Always looking for feedback, so feel free to stop by any of these, cheers.
