Hey thanks all for replies. Gonna update more over the next few months. Been sick since Feb pretty much, so only done commissions and slept Feelin' good, able to draw all day again now so lets get going!

Takashmen - Thanks I intend to!

Kungfoo - Thanks mate, I will finish that pieces, got some good crits n stuff!

    SuperSwank - Hey thanks alot!!

OK, my sisters moved out and left some mugs, I noticed the writing on this when I was drinking my tea - you should all take note, as this is probably the single most important lesson when becoming and artist (or anything else!)

Commissions, holy cleric, might do a value study on this before I paint it.

This is another commission, need some help with lighting etc, anything) Dunno why but its much more saturated on the web browser than photoshop :s

Hey man, glad to hear your planning on posting more.

Both commissions are looking great so far. For the cleric I think you need to add the thumb on her right hand.

The environment is looking great as well. I would may be lighten up the foreground a bit more. I like that you have it in shadow and its working really well but may be its too dark at the moment.

Hey Alex! =) Yip, there's truth in the tea! =) Wahaaa! =) Enviro is great bro, composition is nice =) Would suggest maybe putting in some natives, walking about maybe, so we can get a feel for the scale perhaps =) Colour looks nice and fresh imho =) Have fun finishing =)

I love the second comission a lot (and feel anatomy flaws in the sketch one but I can't put my finger into it).

I wanna that mug, I collect mugs I like but neither of them is this great and true. I'm a lazy one and totally feel its wisdom.

I really like that big environment painting a post ago. It kinda looks like it could be an arena for some fighting game. The silhouettes of the statues are flawless by the way. They totally describe the figures.

I truly think almost everyone is less lazy and blocked than me... Your enviros are great, I love artistic enviro sketches with a nice atmosphere a lot. The third is magical. If people would look at such paintings a lot, they would be a bit happier and better. At least the visual ones like me Color therapy!

Very impressed by the quality of your lines.

This one is quite complicated and kudos for taking on something so difficult. I feel like the perspective on her head is a bit off... we're seeing a down-shot of it, but we're obviously looking at her from below. Fingers on her right hand seem a bit short, and her hands in general seem a little bit small.

The lines are rockin tho. Great forms.

watch the hands ! also try some more organic, human like, less fake looking shapes
keep up the fantastic work señor!

    edit:
i felt bad about what i said, i mean, what i said i didn't back up
okay, so your hands (more importantly her left (our right!) hand) the fingers are stubby like a cherub, i'd seriously just throw in a basic skeleton and probably boxes to figure out the foreshortening. your lines are nice, sure, but you need stop caring about how it looks right now and just understand what it is and how it works in 3 dimensional space yo.
the skulls are cool yeah, but i think centre one kinda looses focus of the babe! if you want a skull in the foreground, think more dynamic and throw it blurred, bigger and lower in the canvas or some bullshit like that. her right arm (our left) seems to not fit into her shoulder, draw the body and then draw the clothes.
check out egon's lines, sure it may not be your style, but that doesnt mean you cant learn from them. i also think you should try and thick of different shapes for head that describe her personality, i mean; is she some crazy bitch? - give her some cheekbones or something! is she a goddess? - make her that in her face yo!
anyway, your doing good alex, it's been a while since i dropped in
    keep rockin!

really nice work - ive got nothing to crit really for these last few pieces, other than perhaps in those enviro's you could be mindful of using too much texture throughout the piece. If the texture is evident all over the piece then there is no focus of attention. Anyway, other than that youre doing great!

Nice environments and lineworks. Though for the acolyte, her arms/hands look sort of weird but I just can't put my finger on it.
