Wow. Awesome start to a SB. Can't believe that more have not commented. You've got some awesome robotic designs.

All I will say right now is that you need to deepen your understanding of all that you understand and beyond. I know, it's vague, but you get my drift. To be more specific, you have a strong understanding of form but you could use some more practice making it look truly 3 dimensional. It's not bad as it stands right now but you want to be the best, right? Your coloring skills and lighting/shading is also good but they could be better. To go back to the form issue, your figures look 3D but in a 2D kind of way. Know what I mean? You could make them pop more and give the piece greater Z-axis depth.

Peetaer: Yes, I understand what your saying. Thanks for the advice and the kind comments. I think my problem is that I get really bored very quickly. I didn't spend more than 3-4 hours on any of these pictures so they all look un-finished in my opinion. I do spend more than a day on some pieces but that is only for studio work that demands realism. (im not able to post any of that stuff either) I must remember what you have said. Thanks again!

Well I haven't been in photoshop for a while. No new paintings. But, I've recently tried my hand at creating some models and texturing using a program called "Mudbox" It's pretty snazzy!

So here are my first attempts at creating something. They aren't for anything specific. I was just messing around.

Thanks, I mean too but I am so un-inspired lately. It took me many hours to come up with that last idea. DOH!

Mud Box eh? might have to check that out. Is that kind of like 3d max? Also love Javier Bardem. He's quite an actor.

I use maya so I don't know how close it is to 3ds max. But mudbox is a sculpting program like ZBrush (except crapper) It's really easy to get into and you don't really need any 3D experience. Yeah man, he's da bomb!

It is but mudbox is easier to get into in my opinion. Zbrush is pretty complicated.
