    Men of CA unite!

    Men of CA unite!

Welcome to men's HQ in the battle of the sexes In this thread we will discuss battle strategies. This battle is unconventional, in that each side must choose the battleground of the other. We will have to put our muscled, hairy brains together to formulate a topic for the ladies that will derail Jenny's plans for world domination..

We face a tenacious enemy. Jenny, unburdened by our manly insecurities, is able to tackle subjects that would cause a grown man to vomit in homophobic disgust. She is also incredibly determined, versatile and graceful in the way she portrays her subjects.

    Take this fraulein for example:

    Men of CA unite!

Seemingly harmless. Well boys don't let your back turn on ol' Jenny! Right when you least expect it, BAM! -

    Men of CA unite!

and right there, all of your hopes in dreams are shattered by a devil in pink!

So men, let us unite in a coalition of the hairy. If we work together, Jenny won't know what hit her!

    --------------------------------------------

Ok, now to work. What you need to do is:

    - Pledge yourself to the cause
    - Either submit a possible topic or discuss an existing one. remember, they're going to try to trip us up the best they can, we need to do the same!

We also need to be ready for whatever Jenny is going to throw at us. If the CA calendar contests taught us anything, it's that Jenny is fully capable of depicting her own kind in sexually explicit ways without resorting to humour, while this is a specific weakness for us males. Jenny knows this. be prepared to depict any of the following:

    - love
    - other feelings (aside from masculine rage)
    - homosexuality
    - female issues
    - other social issues
    - whimsy (little people, teddy bears, sparkly cheeks and the like)
    - my little pony

Keep your head down, remember your training, and we'll all get through this in one piece.

If this happens we are toast...basing my thoughts on Steph actually having been a Hasbro Designer working on the My Little Pony line of toys.

Consider me in...and as for topics, I'm open to anything...except my little pony.

I'll be occupied for the night so I'd best get my ideas down now:

What I think might be unusual for a female to depict:

    Gritty scenes
Old, tough men (think odin, battle wizard etc)
    gore

Putting some of that together, I have one cohesive topic: gritty old male veteran after the war which war, what era, how he looks like etc. to be determined by the individual artist. not the strongest idea but it's a start.

Buwhahahaha yes yes yes YES!! And no Jason I wasn't being sarcastic. The best way to organize a body of people is to pick a leader.

I pledge my soul body and mind to this cause.

How about BIG ROBOTS. We havt o assume that most females shirk away form the techno babble that is huge hulking robots.

I think, to be totally honest, the best form of attack would be from the jugular.
I also want everyone to come out of this, regardless of gender, with a potentially good portfolio piece. (maybe i'm just being nice)

    Mecha, technical robots.
    Airship battles
    Brutal alien planets

something of that nature. I'll figure out more specifics later.

(also, count me in for battle.)

    7. A harem.

My suggestions...Dunno...Men's locker room? Someplace they've never been (usually)?

Gang violence? Ever seen City of God? Something intense...

And don't they have the advantage of a private forum whilst we have this thread for all the world to see?

Eare', they have to do all their discussion out in the open. They have a Challenge area just like this...

Hmmm. I'm not sure I should, but I'll try.

As for the girls bit: A veteran mecha and pilot in a genocidal war. Evidence of atrocity must be present. Depiction is of the side loosing, ie struggling to stay alive. A techno war from the loosing end. Cyberpunk vibe. I'll stop there I don't know how specific we are allowed to be.

    awesome speech sarge!

I second the ideas put forward, about giant robots, military gear and spaceships, the jenny seems to be flawed at technical details and engineering, instead deciding to focus on emotion and compassion...

Also anything that shows women being helpless in the face of the awesomeness of man.....
