This took much longer than I'd like to admit. Looks sooo easy.

Inspiring stuff! Preston Blair is fun to learn from, too.

Thanks for dropping by my sketchbook thread.

Thanx man. That means allot to me.

I'm to tired to do stuff tonite so I decided to bore you with junk from this week.

Drew some real life with my pencil. Something I have not done in ages and it show's.

    This intentionally done carefree.

This was a good idea. I have had these feet for so long but never did I...

Asaro from last night. I posted the early version, I find it kinda spooky. the background is actually a gradient from super dark beige to super dark red, does something cant put my finger on it. Maybe it's placebo.

    And some imagination work.

Something that got me thinking: Do we draw from imagination or do we draw from our experience?

    Merry Christmas

Great improvement from first to last page.

The eyes of your mail on the december 18th post, tend to pop out a little too much, as if he's losing them

    Merry Christmas

It's great to see you working hard and I can see an improvement because of it. I like the head, even is you find it spooky and the posed manikin.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

    Thank you.

Felt hesitation for this one and noticed that I avoided texture. I took it as a challenge, and it is. Need to hack at this again. I think duplicating and moving some layers might help next time.

30 seconds each. A little slower might be a better idea for a while.

    Speed paint study.

I lost tonite's gestures but they are not much to look at anyway.

    Last nights stuff:

I worked two nights on this one. A little more difficult this one as all the tones are so soft and subtle. Learning tons!

    The tones are coming nicely.

I'm getting DNEWS: Desporately Needed Exercise Withdrawl Symptoms.

Taking it slow with gesture now. I think I'm on to something but it will need more practice.

That COW is seriously scary and great on the perspective of it.

Sumo wrestlers, cherubs and fat cats. Yep, I can see the resemblance. Random arm in the middle of the posemaniacs is amusing.

You're getting nice dynamic forms from these.

Your lines are getting cleaner bit by bit. The hard work is starting to reap rewards.
