Boozer Doodle merges with Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School for a Valentine Massacre!
2/10/09 8pm - Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School and Boozer Doodle join forces in Feb just in time for Valentine's Day at the ICE HOUSE in East Atlanta.
Both figure drawing groups have become increasingly popular with Atlanta Artists
making it necessary to find a bigger space for their monthly drawing
They kick off their first combined show on Feb 10th with a Valentine's Day
theme. Don't miss the racy runway battle and chocolate wrestling match
between the saucy Dr. Sketchy's and Boozer Doodle models. It might be a
chocolate valentine massacre, but it will certainly be an exciting evening
of drawing to say the least!
The Gorgeous Ladies of Comedy emcee the event and hosts drawing contests
with fun prizes from the event's sponsor, Utrecht. Even more exciting – the
event is moving to a new location at The Icehouse with a bigger space and
free parking! Boozer Doodle present's Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School hopes to
attract both emerging and established local artists with all levels of
drawing skill. Everyone is encouraged to share their work and bring
promotional announcements for their upcoming art events. This is a great
opportunity for artists to network and share their creative vibe.
The strategic collaboration of these two drawing groups will prove to be the
hottest event for figure artists in Georgia by maximizing the best aspects
of both groups. We start off each night with a themed performance, then the
drawing gets under way with a series of timed poses highlighted by great
costume changes and charming models. A new DJ will be spinning music to
keep everyone's fingers doodling and toes tapping. Models & creative themes
are carefully selected to inspire creativity in all artists. Enjoy drinks and food
from the bar and get to drawing as Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School strikes a love
match with the Boozer Doodle team forever becoming one, Atlanta's own,
Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School.
