    Online game artwork.

    Hey all,

Here's some of the artwork I've been producing for various online games. They're all quite small in size, and have to be produced fairly quickly. Sometimes I work double the size, to have a bigger version for the portfolio, but if time is short I have to work at actual size. I'm usually just given a title for an image and everything else is up to me. They're a lot of fun to do, especially as I can do what I want with them.

The last 'Sea Battle' image is a rendered image. I modeled the ships in Maya (initially only modeled for icon images, so no great amounts of detail) and rendered the image with Mental Ray. I composited everything in Photoshop with added elements, such as the sky, sea, gunfire, smoke etc. I love doing these 3d-2d illustrations, they're a lot of fun.

It's all a lot of fun, but I like the ominous lime jello best.
