@ MacTire: Thank you. Soon I'll upload a whole load of stuff I have been doing. I hope I can manage to make this thing move even faster.
@ Cacodaemonia: YAY! Thank you, I appreciate it.

@ enmi: Thank you, I am so happy, that I have found an own style in these posters, but I am far from having an own unmistakeable style.

The last detail shot, tommorrow or on Thursday the full, blown up Poster! I am on a good way of having copies sold to some children Doctors offices. Any tips on copyright and the price I should charge for bigger than life high quality copies? (a copy per poster is about 6 euros, per poster I invested about 20 hours.) Is there any formula I could use?

    Cheers

    MUHAHAHAHA!
So guys, this is going to be the last Little Men poster I will be doing for a while. I will have to do more Portfolio work, and uni stuff, and so forth and I think three Posters is a nice round number, so thats fine I guess!
I hope you enjoyed looking at them as much as I did drawing and painting them. And you guys thanks for all the support, I am going to get back to you and your sketchbooks this weekend, I promise. I miss writing stuff to you, so I'll change that!

    So, without further ado:

@ AimBiz, Bharat, Cacodaemonia: Thanks guys!

So here is a whole bunch of different stuff I did in Nude-classes and at home. The Medusa painting was done in acrylics, and is not ready yet. I am going to add some versace jewellery probably and change the graphical face to something more painted.
I am also working on different archetype characters of my freinds book. They are going to illustrate the peoples living in that world, so expect an update later today!

    Cheers

I really like the Iron Wraith concept Is intended that the body looks flat opposed to the shape of the mask and claw?

@ Quike Garcia: Thanks, she isn't intended to be flat, it just didn't come out as I wanted, but I will work on her to add depth etc.

All of the Illustrations for the Korean-inspired people from the book-world. They are masters of Iron, and keep their people as slaves to work in the iron mines. but the Emperors days are counted. These are concepts for the history of the country, but in the time the story is set in, these people have already been invaded by a mongol type race. Wait and see the other designs.

    Cheers

@ Quike Garcia: Hi there. Yeah, I noticed the strangeness, too. Could it be that his arms are too long?

So big news guys. Today I sold my first ever Art. Well not the original, but a high quality copy of the three Little Men Posters. I sold them to a dentist I visit. She absolutely loved them and is going to hang them on the ceiling over the patients chairs. She also said, that if I ever want to sell the originals I should tell her. Kaching! I know her quite well, and it was my first ever sell, so I went lightly and charged 150 euros for the three cpoies of the poster. I know, that I could have charged more, but I think it is a reasonable price. What do you guys think?
She also asked me to paint two other paintings, somehow involving horses, but I am completely open to interpretation so I am not that uninclined to do them, as I could do some nice paintings, without going into kitch territory. So, you can expect some of those soon.
What else? Been to portrait and nude classes today, I enjoyed it as always, my stuff from today is shown at the bottom. And a friend of my mom is interested in one of my paintings.

So guys, cheers. I am happy to be a part of this community. I hope one day I can give something back, until then enjoy my stuff.

If anyone is interested in buying one of the posters please pm me. The price for a single copy is 60€/ 90$/ 55pounds.

These are some ideas, for a painting I am doing for a competition. The theme is "Mirrors" and I has quite a few ideas, but I think this one will be the right one to do for me now. I was thinking of constructing a skull out of Kaleidoskop fragments and filling the shards, not with lame colour, but with really beautiful but a little psychedelic snake skins (kinda like the prints Alexander McQueen uses in his new Collection). I am planning on not realy sticking to the straight shjard lines, but letting the pieces overlap at times. On the bottom, the crouching, naked figure will be sitting, the skull will errupt from her head and a ghostly and dolled up version of the junkie girl, still having the grotesk face, is going to be rising form the skulls head. Symbolism, regarding drugs is going to take an equal part as the aesthetic of the snake hides and all the colours. I hope you kinda get the drift, if not wait a few more days, and you will see.

    Ideas? Comments? Tips?

The pose of the "nice" addict is taken form a Foto of a Girls Aloud DVD sleeve, the final image is going to be altered, but the pose is very nice, so I will probably use it as it is.

    Cheers

    @ Wabbit: Cool, thanks.

@ Kristo Novo: Thank you. I guess I am going to need some luck.

Here is another concept sheet for the Kailedoskop Skull of Dreams. The prints and kaleidopskop sharts are going to be morphed partially with each other and cover most of the painting. The bodis on the floor are going to be kept very dark to add contrast and they are also probably going to be sprinkled with light dots.

    Cheers

Some Concepts for an Eskimotype people living in the North of our continent. The masks symbolise the speciality the hunters have. The first one is a chief, once a fish hunter. The Second masked man is a walruss hunter and the last one is another fish hunter. The Women do not go hunting like their husbands, but stay at home.
These are the different steps I take to illustrate the characters. The Koreans a few Posts up have also gone through this process. FIrst pencil, then greyscale watercolour washes to determine shadows and light. And lastly Photoshop colouring.

    Cheers

    Here some more updates.

Two new Eskimo characters. The first one is a male fish hunter the second one is an "eskimo" woman. These are all concepts for the world David and me are building. Their people are basically a part of the bigger cultural group living in the east of the continent: The "Mongols". The Koreans I did earlier also live in that area, though in a warmer climate, and they were invaded and assimilated by the huge army of the Khan. You know what? I'll just post a rough sketch of the continental map for you guys, so that you can understand me better.

Also I have another question for all of you who know how to get in contact with the art team responsible for the Magic: The Gathering art of Wizards of the coast. Maybe even just a pointer to an artist of ca that makes art for them. Thanks in advance!

    Cheers
