    Simple and striking.

Looking from top down looks good but something feels off looking from bottom up. I think it's something in the lighting harmony or something.

@ Quikenobi: Thanks! She's got some feathers on her ass, so thats the reason it looks huge.

@ zaorr: Thanks. I don't see what you mean though?

Some work on the Norse poster. I'm in need of 3 or 4 more characters to fill teh ranks up. Any ideas?

You've been busy! Sorry I've been MIA for a little while. D: Those silhouette paintings are really fun! They all have the same basic composition, but with different colors, characters, and texture to the ground, they have very different moods.

I absolutely LOVE the three portraits you posted yesterday morning. It looks like all your hard work recently has paid off even more. Amazing.

For the standing orange woman - try moving her a bit off center? The image feels very static right now.

Can't wait to see more of the Norse mythology poster!

I like the designs in those one, my only wish that the female as more tighten up on the paint strokes. It seems a bit blurry.

I love those watercolours! They are beautiful

The characters in your Norse poster are so cute as well. Have you thrown in any Valkyries yet?

It's been faaar too long since I've visited your fantastic book. Watercolors are beyond beautiful as always, and I love the splashes of yellow that you're incorporating into your pieces. Hurray for the new illustration!

    @ Quikenobi: Thanks!

    @ EKOes: Grazie

@ Pigeonkill: Yeah, I kinda liked the blur. I think you might be right though. I'll try and change it!

@ Karein: Yeah, for sure! There actually is one valkyrie at the door of Valhalla, peeking out, and one a bit further down that is taking a soul of a fallen warrior by his hand and bringing him up to feast. Thank you!

    @ Mischeviouslittleelf: Thanks!

@ courtyard: =P Thanks! I'm gonna post some news on that soon.

Some inks/watercolours. I'm in the middle of breinstorming a new world with my buddy, the egyptian like statue is for that. The other one is pure nonsense!

And another update from me. Fisrt few pages of my moleskin. I hate the paper, but oh well. These are all concepts for the "Altes Volk", german for "The old race".
They started out as some pretty basic egyptians, only that all of the priests and kings decided to give themselves coneheads in order to be nearer to the gids (who have them as well). They developed from a small rural community that prayed to the godmother and father, gods of fertility etc. into a gigantic empire hailing to their hermaphrodite God of Lust. The Priests and monarchs live secluded from their people and slaves and live a life of consumation, physical pleasures, drugs, cruelty etc in their gigantic palaces and temples. They pretty much have orgies every day and love watching blood flow. Of course their peoples do not know that the cult of the hermaphrodite is as radical, they see their king pretty much once in a lifetime....

The overall scheme in clothing and architecture is kind of a mesh of egyptian classicism and the pompeusness of the Renaissance and Baroque. I'm still working on more dramatic gowns etc. Enjoy!

Sex slaves...bondage gag balls and hermaphrodite God of Lust! Those "Altes Volk" sure know how to party.

    Interesting concepts

The concept seems really great. The idea is a bit twisted, but sounds really funny

I really like the fabric texture on the third female coloured one

@ Pigeonkill: Thanks man. They really are into all that stuff but believe me its is a lot worse than it looks like. I kinda felt weird going all teh way to hardcore fetish, but thats the direction they are headed in. Fetish with an egyptian-baroque twist!

@ Quikenobi: Thanks. I will try pushing them a little more.

    Small update...

Lots of interesting concepts! I'm curious to see more.

In this set of designs, I like the second one best, but think it would look good with the turquoise color scheme: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1243326794

And I think I like the first one best: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1243332544 The shoulder pads just don't do it for me.

@ kingkostas: Yeah you are right. I need work on that. A lot!

@ Cacodaemonia: Thanks for your thoughts! I kinda like the shoulder pads, but only the big'uns have them so...

So, some designs for Priests. Not much, but it keeps the ball rolling.

@ courtyard: Hi there, and thanks. I kinda feel like putting more of a baroque twist, but I'll have to pass that by my friend as well, maybe some roughs soon, just to get the feel. Oh, and fantasy is so great because you can just be CRAZY! =D

Here you go, one more for today, some small slave girls all sweaty and afraid (and smug, who knows why???).
