hhh...you're getting old!!!....it's all because you spend too much of your free time on Livestreams talking with weird people about horses and donkeys

Great update so far, with each stroke/line you're pushing your skills to a higher level, just keep doing it and you"ll be fine.

    Alex.

hk: yes indeed. I somehow had a craving for salad back then
    teapo: thank you

Just did some shitty Movie Studies this week that didn't turn out very good...
Worked on a personal illustration and another illustration for a magazine that I'll show when they're finished

The scs times are actually kind of unrepresentative, because I didn't really concentrate and just doodled around in some of them In the first one e.g. I was just trying to focus on her hair and tried around a lot. you don't really see the result there... I should really stop chatting in sam and miles livestreams all the times because sort of kills my concentration.
BTW I did a livestream last sunday and I'm thinking about doing one again. So if you're interested, I think I'll post the date and time on twitter...

It's been my 21st study this year. Wonder how they'll look when I do the 100th

looking good avis heehee yeah talking in the livestream chat can be pretty distracting.
youre getting really good at laying down the colors in those screencaps quickly, but try doing some longer ones focusing on all the subtle hue/saturation variations. itll help tons. good job, youre doin great!

Fantastic work Avis! Loving the studies!
One tiny suggestion regarding those colour studies, I appreciate that time is of the essence however it wouldn't do any harm to do a quick analysis / measure (though no need to make marks, just work it out in your head) of each screenshot as you place things, e.g. Aragorn's right tepmle is about at the center point of that shot.

Great work on those "dedicated" studies too, I especially like how you rendered that hand! Keep up thee great work!

Haha, so finally that fiths star is gone. Wondered how long it would stay there in the first place

Mac: Your right. I could use the escuse that I don't have much time before I head to work and that I'm still tired in the mornings, but I should really keep an eye on the proportions nontheless.
Fushandchups, zeichenwut, lancer, surus, Zolerit, Fallen: thank you guys, your support is really appreciated

So here are some more studies. Just a few, but better than nothing

haha i have that same black sword guy ref on the bottom anyway, lookin good. id reccommend some studies from photos that arent screencaps as well; screenies tend to have awful colors. course, if colors arent what youre focusing on then theyre pretty awesome. keep it up!

(and youre 25??(or 26?) haha i thought you were my age this whole time....)

Wow, nice stuff, I enjoyed looking through your sketchbook.

Check out my sketchbook: Anatomy Sketchbook
And please comment, even if you think it's terrible, tell me why . Or if you don't want to at least a "good work" would be motivating
