    Painter X.1 issues

Im hoping someone can give me some advice as to why this keeps happening to my program. What happens is Ill start messing around with say a pencil brush and then I want to swap to another type. It doesnt matter what type of brush type I want to switch to but I cant. I just stay on the first brush set that I selected. Its quite annoying as Id really like to learn this program. Any resolution would be appreciated.

    Hi,

Can you explain more about your issue? You just downloaded the program or did you have it for a while and upgrade to x.1?

Are you using the trial version with patch, academic, commercial?

What kind of platform/OS are you using?

Is this a custom brush you downloaded, or just one of the defaults?

I'd usually just recommend a factory restore which you hold the shift key so it restores itself to factory settings however, as in the first question there is a BIG drawback if you have customizations set already.

I'd also say default advice as re-installing the program, but if you give more responses on your issue it might help us from doing the most drastic resolution which is like getting the "Format your harddrive response" in tech support.

    3.1? Do you maybe mean X.1 ?

Corel Painter is currently on version 10.1.

Please do not PM me with Painter questions. Instead, post them here where everyone can benefit from them. Thanks!
