Gotta tell you man, those silhouettes would have served their purpose better in PS, then you could'a worked them over, but still, on their own premis they look quite well

Dude you going to art center?? That's awesome. If I had the money and I didn't leave on the opposite end of the country I would totally apply there as my first choice. The enviro silhouettes look great. You guys are supposed to do them traditional right? I remember talking to a rep about my portfolio and she said they didn't want to see any digital stuff.

    thats right..
i could so easily do these silos in digital but it doesnt leave room for when i mess up.. and when i mess up what do i do? theres no ctrl z when working with paper so in a way it teaches me something new everytime i create anything using traditional skills..

that sorta goes into what elf was saying. yes your rihgt i could have made them digital and my teacher when he saw my work said i can work in digital if i wanted to. but digital is too easy and i feel that i dont have a strong enough base into my traditional thats all.. so yea. plus all those silos were for homework

    Good stuff, keep it up.

I suppose you're going into the Entertainment design track, considering how you're doing silhouettes a-la-Robertson. Keep your head open to different experiences here at ACCD.

Hey, Reject-D! I'm finally commenting in your sketchbook like I said I would. I'm lovin' those character and architecture thumbs a few posts up, and I agree with you wholeheartedly that doing stuff like that traditionally rather than digitally forces you to think and plan more, and learn more from your mistakes.
Your soldier guy is coming along well. His hands and feet seem somewhat small, though, and his right arm and wrist seem too flexible and formless. Also, consider lightening the background a bit to make the figure pop a bit more.
