wow, I love the inked stuff man. particularly this one:
on the digital image you just posted, the eye seems too sharp in comparison to the rest of the picture and the shading and highlights could probably be blended a little more.
hope that's helpful. cheers man.
Name's Todd. I'd encourage you to check out my sketchbook, but it's full of shit, natch.
Thank you T-M-K for commenting, and I definitely see what you're talking about.
I'm gonna try and keep this sketchbook updated frequently, so here's a few more sketches... Thanks.
Just a couple this time, trying to stay true and update daily.
I think that I've overused the blur in these.
Just one for today... sorry about the size and ugly yellow. I got bored and post-it notes were all I had available.
Ha really nice! I like your surreal works. They are full of atmosphere.
The " ugly yellow one " is great, too. I like the perspektive and the landscape in the back.
p.s A painted version of this picture would be great !
Keep it up!
I look forward to how you progress
Work darn you, WORK! *cracks artistic whip*!

thanks for visiting my sketchbook, seeing someone posting there really motivates to keep trying
You posted very interesting artworks here, i especially like traditional ones, great clean lines and shadows there. Those could make great illustrations in my opinion. As to digital ones im complete amateur myself so i wont crit them, once ull get used to drawing with tablet they will start to shine judging by your traditional technique.
post some more
I'm still working at using the tablet and all that good stuff. I think my next big problem though, is picking brushes. I never really know where to start when working digitally.
<-------------- has had a severe lack of motivation lately.
Hey mate, thanks for the kind words in my sketchbook, I appreciate it
Cool work you got going on in here, very different, surrealistic. Not really sure what I can offer in terms of advice - You mentioned you want to improve, seems a bit silly of me to mention but studies and practice I guess is the only ticket. My fave is the last pencil piece in your first post, nice fluid sweeping lines, its an attractive style you got going on. Keep posting and yeah I have had a severe lack of motivation today too...
you stylized figures are great in the pen and inks especially. I would keep exercising that style. you mentioned that you wanted to improve, Draw from life and reference. You still lacking motivation? draw what ever is in front you right now. check out the tutorials online too... Don't give up.. These guys on this site ROCK, don't let it discourage you, they worked hard to get where they're at technique wise. I started art college when I was 25. ten years ago... with every bold step forward your ability will grow stronger....

Mr. Gadbury, Carnal, Dwardo, thank you all very much for visiting my sketchbook, I greatly appreciate your advice and kind words.
It's been a little while since I've added anything to my sketchbook. Anyway, this will be the first time I've posted a new drawing in the past 2 1/2 months. It was looking and admiring all of your great and wonderful creations that sort of got me back on track, well, at least it got me drawing again.
These are both work in progress and so far done with pencil, standard ink pen, and watercolors.
Eh, just another work in progress here. I'll be adding some sort of background to this, but I'm just not sure what it'll be yet.
Something about this one just looks terribly wrong to me, it just looks insanely blurry. I do like it more myself without the girl in the picture. Oh well, I'm posting it anyway.
erter: Of course after you posted this I had to check out some of HR Giger's work; he's got some pretty incredible looking stuff. Thank you for the comment and for stopping by my sketchbook.
Very good work, all the outworldish stuff looks great, I love how you improvised with the postit notes for the one.
Icedearth15876: Thank you very much for the compliment.
DStraX: Thank you for the kind words and I appreciate you stopping by to check out the sketchbook. Thanks again.
Quick PS work.
Your pics appear to have a mystery, a secret. Seems to has a history, a why.
Felipe: Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my SB.
very cool... I love the black and white pieces

biggjoee5790: Thanks for stopping by. I've always enjoyed drawing with pencil and pen, I guess, I'm just not too good with colour. It's something I need to start doing a bit more though.
Dude, loved your things they are really daliesque, yet original.
