    Hand

    First time i'm posting in this section.

    Here are two drawings of my hand. Drawed in approximately 4 hrs each with graphite. I waned to know what you guys think about how the shadows look. I know i messed up the one above the thumb of the second hand. Asides from that is anything wrong?

    Also...there are some quite AMAZING tutorials on figure drawing and color theory in this forum. They helped a lot. Thank you for uploading!

    The shading looks good in my oppinion. However, the knobbly-wrist-bits... they look a little too pronounced. Kinda makes the wrist look lumpy.

    Ah, in that case I'd just reduce the intensity of the shadow being cast by them. If you blur your eyes in the photo, the bones don't have as dark a shadow as if you were to blur your eyes in the drawing. But, I must admit it looks a lot less pronounced now that I've seen the photo.
