Very nice step by step Hygami, every time I read through something like this I think to myself "well that seems easy" but it never feels quite like that when I try.

Your attention to detail is impressive too and I like how you included your reference source, it seems I need to change my actual approach to drawing and keep those kinds of things in mind.

What software and hardware do you use for your drawings?

Loving those sketches! And I like how you added the process you used to make them. Keep it up! Try to do some work with color if you can.

you have a very deliberate paint stroke
and sometimes i think your subject is too separate from the back ground,
maybe its the crispness of your backgrounds
there is too much in focus

that is only a minor thing that bothers me

otherwise my favorite is the bust with the joker hat (the one with the process) i love the dark to light painting style

Awsome updates Hygami, very cool figures! I think I might be in love with the girl with lip piercings' eyes!

Your renderings are brilliant but I still think I'm too far from understanding how to do stuff like that to give much of an opinion on them, haha.

Sweet stuff man. Some digi paintings from life maybe? And some leg studies, some of them are out of proportion. And isn't that bridgeman fist? Keep it up, your work inspires me like crazy.

Thanks for those links Hygami, I'm listening to Bobby Chiu right now and I am so getting up at 7am tomorrow morning to do some drawing, haha!.

I looked through Mr. Delicious' sketchbook, great stuff in there and it's cool too see the progress; gives me hope that if I stick with practicing I'll inevitably get better.

Anyway, I'm not sure if you've read the post from Jason Manley that Elwell posted in Lounge forum but here's a link to it.Words of Wisdom. I read it yesterday and was really inspired.

Hey man, quite a good job so far!
I don't have the Hogarth book so I don't know the ref pic but I see a problem with the knuckles there, it's really simple to correct though, don't connect the finger defining lines with the knuckles, that's all. ^^

    Keep it up!!

I will be posting again as PENCILMAFIA soon!

    Hope to see you then!
