@ courtyard: Thanks think im gonna do some more hands again soon .. and maybe some feet too.
@ Mischeviouslittleelf: Thanks Means alot coming from an artist as skilled as you. I'll keep at it
@ Janos: Thanks! more hands coming up soon
@ Pixie Bergman: Thank you I'll keep studying
@ jatherip: Yup very good for motivation Thanks!

Thanks to all the people thats been replying to my sketchbook lately, it really means a lot for motivation and motivation is something i'll need the next coming month ... it's exam period at the business school so lots of other non-art related stuff that needs doing. Im gonna squeeze as much art in as possible.

about todays batch: didn't get to do half as much as i would have liked ... guess i need to try harder

    - Bridgeman studies
    - clothing and figure studies (from the sartorialist blog)
    - Street fighter like MMA study. Was lots of fun doing
    - Movie scene from "3:10 to Yuma"

The last one is strong valuewise but quite a few edges need sharpening to add ineterest and lead the eye.

Holy crap! it's been over a month since my last update!!

What have I been doing in the mean time? not drawing
I now hold a bachelors degree in Business Economics and Computer Science.
Due to the finishing exams I haven't drawn for OVER A MONTH !!! Preposterous! unforgivable!

So from now on: DAILY UPDATES!

    Here's the first batch:
    bridgeman
poses (damn i was rusty ...)
    faces (from deadwood)
    Scene from ratatouille

    See you tomorrow!

Nice bridgeman studies, keep it up. I laughed at the "ok" bar cage match.

Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!

tokotewhero: Thanks! was quite surprised of how well the colors came out. But need to do more color studies.

    Today's batch:
    - Went to Nyhavn in Copenhagen to sketch people and buildings. Those bastards wont keep still! the people i mean, the buildings didn't move ...
    - Poses from observation and imagination. My imagination poses sucked! need to practice more.
    - Kchen studies.

Note to self. Look before you draw.

Dude! Those movie frame still and boxing piece are my two favorite things on this page. That's a fantastic way to study good values and lighting...that's just sick. I can tell all ready, you're going to be one of those people that make me cry in jealousy before too long because you're just going to be so damn good! You've definitely got the work ethic down. Keep it going.
Anyways, the Bridgman stuff is great, he'll never serve you wrong. And you did a me study? Dude...that's too much. Thanks for the comment on my thread, and keep this work going.

Congrats on your degree! Awesome flood of sketches in here. Really agree with Sketcheth about studying the movie stills--brilliant idea that I think I'll steal. Really like the quick sketches from life, too. The Vilppu line work is getting stronger by the post--maybe see if you can carry that confidence over to your digital quick sketches, as they look quite stiff and timid in comparison.

    'nother batch.

    - poses 45 sec. sucked. Just couldn't find the damn forms.
    - Cloth studies. Found out i sucked at shirt when trying to do the CHOW. So studied that.
    - CHOW. Tried to apply what i learned from the studies. still not great but i could feel i had learned something. Didn't spend that much time on it as i should have.

Hey, some pretty good stuff around here!
Great studies with cloth, I should do some of those and the stills are also very cool.
Villpu and Bridgman, nice combo! Keep drawing those figures, the improvement you show is amazing. Try to hint the hands as fists, and the feet too, or they may appear as problems later (remember that the hand is very difficult by itself, so you must now well were to put it first).
    Cheers.

    today's batch:
    - poses done vilppu-ish. not very good, need to practice flow and movement more
    - Went to Glyptoteket and draw a statue. Focused more on drawing lines to show form then rendering.
    - A crappy head
    - some more heads (all from busts)

Hey, congratz for your bachelor degree
realy intresting studies and paints you have here
for the paints you could maybe try to use a harder brush, shape and values are good but it would be more realistic witch harder brushes (what I think of cours )
    keep it up

@: Thanks! Tried using a hard, round brush in the CHOW update below. gonna fiddle around with the wacom settings tomorrow.

    Today's crap:
    - Crappy poses
    - Crappy poses from imagination
    - Not so crappy render of the CHOW. Kinda like the face now.

Gray paper and white pencils = great fun

The first one with the hand really sucked. Need to study more hands.

Hi Braintree, sry for asking, but are you Fumble's brother (you went to the same museum and similar studies )?. That must be great, studying together .

Anway, cool studies, the only thing I can suggest is that you keep going, and study even harder .
