    Hey Fumble, nice colorstudie .
About the character, I think your lines could be somewhat more confident, but that will come eventually, so keep going.
I would love to see some character colored up btw

    @ Sublimus: I am? cool!

    ----
Finally..... the still life is done! It must have taken me about 20 hours to make (yes i know i work slow ) and a couple of times during the process i got so frustrated with it that i was VERY close to deleting everything! but it is as done as i want it to be now. Hmm isn't there something about you should enjoy making art.. well that sort of went out the window after the first 10 hours and then i just wanted to finish it .

I think it will be that last still life i will do for a while (4-5 days at least). Staring at a computer screen non-stop for hours and hours has made my eyes quite red and irritated so i think i will take a few days off from my computer, which means only traditional stuff .

Excellent job on the wine bottle, it must have been a really pain to get all the gold foil and text in. Are those walnuts on the bottom, they look oddly shaped to me. Unless they are organic nuts.

Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!

Hey good to see some studies! I like the figure ones only thing is that the boobs look like they are a bit far apart. even smaller boobs go a bit together.

Hey man, nice stuff in the latest updates... Those colour studies are really nice and I'm diggin' the still life... Also you can't go wrong with anatomy studies

As for crits... I would say take a little more time when you're adding tones to your pencil studies... right now they look a little flat, so try to use your tone and shading to really describe the form of what you're drawing.

    Keep it up mang!

@ Pigeonkill: yes especially the text was a killer and yes it is walnuts and they are quite misshaped, they are from a walnut tree we have in our backyard.

@ kingkostas: me keeping it up

@ B-Man: actually now that you mention it, they are placed quite weird

@ Cuervo: well life is treatning me good really good actually I keep drawing and painting, all day, everyday

@ Ookchk: Thanks yea i have really bad habit (another :p) of just rushing my values. Mental note: take your time!

Todays update is a very special update. Well not the update itself but what is special about today is that it is exactly 1 year ago that i decided to do something serious about my drawing skills (or lack thereof ). So i have now been drawing for 1 year. Well two of the months i didn't touch a pencil or tablet because of exams and stuff . Anyways i will continue to develop my art skills as best as i can, and see where it takes me . Oh and congratulations to my brother (BrainTree) he has also been drawing for a year now .

For todays update i only have traditional stuff:

Hey man! Skintones are hard indeed . Now it's looking you're going to brown and muddy with your shadow tones. I suggest you a like at Jens his sb. He once had a workshop at our school and it was a real eye opener for me . Try to see how he uses those reds in the nose area and ears. How and where he places those highlights.

    Question

@ Lyno: that is so true! I'm taking a look at Jens's sketchbook right now and WOW that guy is amazing! What school are you going to?! i wanna go there too .

I feel that i must apologize for this feeble little update. I went to the Zoo yesterday and i made these here sketches. So being in the sun all day, walking, bicycling and all, plus a 10 km run when i got home, i was quite tired and lazy .... so.. yea i know i have a lot of bad excuses The update tomorrow will be better, i promise

Great colors in your digitals! Proportions seem to be a bit off in the little figure poses sometimes. Keep going!

@ Lyno: Thanks . Dude that school sounds cool! I'm going to change school after the summer holiday from the Copenhagen Business School to the IT-university of Copenhagen. They offer a course in Game Design and 3D and the rest is programming so.. it's much better then Copenhagen Business School where it was just economics and management .

@ Bartovan : Thanks. yea im still battling with the proportions.

Nice.Do more of these.I think your understanding is evolving rapidly.
Try doing the same with some different brushes.More "sharp" and clear brushstrokes

    See ya mate
