Hi Hi! Looks like you're working hard. I like your environments, especially in ink wash!

Remember your constructions with those figures though. Try not to jump straight into drawing without having the understructure first.

    Cheerio!

    What games are distracting you?

I know how it goes. Want to draw and play. If only I could do both at the same time.

Man do I love those creature designs. I feel like their far ahead of what I can do. Need more bro. Try completing some if possible.

As for games man. Personally I can't wait for Bulletstorm and The Old Republic. Playing Bad Company 2 here and there now.

@Demotyme: Nah, don't think so. Most of the time when I start drawing digitally it's just bad, so it wouldn't make any sense for me to continue.
    @SigonWulf: Thank you

    New ones:
    1. Something digital. Credits go to Gary Tonge. I tried to repaint one of his paintings.
    2. Lousy Angel/Demons
    3. Arms and crap

I'd suggest slowing down to try and learn something and master it, or at least more balance of studies with your imagination stuff. Don't put too much unneeded pressure on yourself!

In shading with graphite, try to build it out from the middle- f to establish a mid tone, B to establish heavier shadow. And try to avoid the scratchy look that comes from a discontinuous tone (meaning, it jumps around in tone, rather than smooth, continuous tone from dark to light.

    Good luck!

@kiwi: Thanks again! Yeaah, I know It's hard for me to concentrate on one or a few things and get them right. I always think: "That's important! Try it out, mkay. *draw* Meeh, looks bad, but look, this is also important for me becoming an artist, try it! *draw* Meeeh." Endless story...
Shading: You mean I shouldn't do cross-hatching or what's it called? Rather smooth shading?

    New Stuff!
First an weird alien from Daily Sketch Group.
Second an environment. Which is better? With or without highlights on the rocks?

Both of the landscapes are nice for different reasons, I think it would be a matter of personal preference which one is " better". As said before it'd be nice to see you slowwwww down! Spend an hour or two rendering a torso, or an eye, or anything you want really. Being a good artist is better than being a fast one, and honestly by the time you've gone through the trouble of being a good artist you'll notice you're fast too :] Keep it up, you're getting there :]

"A drawing is not necessarily academic because it is thorough, but only because it is dead. Neither is a drawing necessarily academic because it is done in what is called a conventional style, any more than it is good because it is done in an unconventional style. The test is whether it has life and conveys genuine feeling."- Harold Speed

You're the least lazy of all of us. I'm not really versed in photography but I do like the design, I feel you composed the pictures well. The triptych idea was good as well.

    Keep plugin'
