Loving the environments bro. If you get a chance hit up a mcdonalds or a coffee shop and try sketching some of the people in there. I plan to give it a shot tomorrow. If you would like when were done we can compare and relate troubles and ideas.

Helps us on our journey. Comments and critiques are welcome.

You're doing good, keep up with the anatomy studies. Also try some environmental studies, they'll help your environmental designs.

@The Origianal [E]: Thank you! Have to turn to anatomy again, you're right.
@D.Daum: Nice to hear I really do improve Get your sketchbook online!

No words today, I'm frustrated as hell. School, life, art. It scares the crap out of me...

I like the studies! One thing that I learned that helps me immensely is to add value to my drawings, you understand form much better than you would with just line.

    Thanks Demotyme!
Just a little update, beside scribbles and sketches not worth showing I did this painting with tempera. Much greener in reality.

Reminds me of my first self portrait, it's was fun. If you did want crit, the face is out of perspective with the rest of the face. From the chin it looks like 3/4 view, but the face is straight on. It seems like the head is lacking construction beforehand. If you did it straight from ref or life, great, but even just putting down the basic landmarks (eye line, nose, mouth, chin etc.) will help your head structure.

    @Demotyme:
    Exactly
I have to do this for school, as a part of my graduation.

New stuff: Somehow, I can't take hold long enough on digital stuff. Depressing...

Your latest studies are good, you certainly made quite a progress, but watch the proportions - some feet and hands look too small. I often have the same problem

Nice job on those environment sketches. Keep posting!

@You mean the hands in the life drawing stuff? Yeah...I know...The heads are kinda small, too. Thanks for your comment!

Did a collageish thing for school. It should resemble the work from Braque and Picasso, as they ventured into Synthetic Cubism.
And more Ishas for the other school project.

I love the painting and the marker stuff. I propose a draw off for our sketchgroup. Find the cutest animal you can find and draw it to the best of your abilities. When we are all done we will critique each others and provide some helpful tips.

Also instead of just drawing a cute creature try and write down some of your struggles and things you really like about your drawing. We can compare these notes.

Helps us on our journey. Comments and critiques are welcome.

Sorry guys, last weeks were messy, chaotic and stressful. School is raping me.
Nonetheless, some things I did. Watercolors are interesting, I will experiment more in time.
    Do you like the drawings?

Not yet, I have to wait till march and than I'm out.
Actually, I don't like the drawings very much. I put myself under pressure, like "I have to do this perfectly, the drawings are important for my graduation" and stuff like that. Unfortunately, that way the "spirit" of my more loose drawings gets lost and the paintings look stiff and boring. I'm glad that I have to submit that stuff, together with 10 pages of theoretical boredom, next thursday. THAN I'm able to do what I want, start drawing digitally, more studies, etc.
Thank you Demotyme for dropping in
