It's taken me a way while, but I've finally looked through all your sketchbook. The steady improvement from page one to 73 is seriously inspiring.

Sorry for taking so long to comment on your own sketchbook, but now that I'm here I just want to say keep up the good work and thanks for the feedback! Now that I've caught up, I'm definitely keeping an eye out for your next posts.

5 stars for being a boss! wonderful improvement and you are really starting to nail form and line work. your color studies are visually interesting and show great promise for growth with intuitive color combinations.

She's too pristine compared to the rest of the 'old photo'. I could do with a few hours on a floating island where no one else can reach me.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

I did a sketch like this in my sketchbook! Except no balloons where coming out of her head and it was more of a dark sci-fi looking piece.

    Great picture.

    Like the recent updates.

My observational skills may be great but i said nothing about my drawing skills

Mate! Your stylised faces are fab! I agree with Black Spot about the girl, her outline makes her stand out and brings her forwards from the other figures, as does the snake she is holding, the other outline are browner so it's softer. Also I will totally hang out here more often.

That first monkey is just beautiful Matt, amazing strokes.
With a lot of your close up shots you don't pay much attention to the lower part of the bodies that are getting cropped. Even though you cannot see the elbow you can play with the lines to suggest that there is structure in the figure and that elbows, even though are not in the image, are there. The image with the girl with the heart on her chest; have a look at her chest and arms, it is very hard to see the form and if the arms hang in front or behind the chest. I also think with the bearded man that more suggestive lines for the shoulders and collar bones would be an improvement. They would also aid you in getting the garments to 'sit' right on him.
Otherwise as usual an another amazing update.
