Thread: Dragons_Slayer's Sketchbook
December 11th, 2008 #1
I'm 18 years old, and an artist for life. I could have joined this site alot earlier to show my work but I always have the feeling that it's not really post worthy. But that's a stupid thought and I'm going to post my work anyway.
Here some old ones to start with, most of them were made at school (I studied Visual Arts) I hope you like it, I'll be posting more soon:

Here some concept art I made 2 years (or so) ago. I was inspired by The Elders Scrolls, especially the (in that time) new game Oblivion. I was thinking about making a game like that one, never started it, although the idea is still there and sooner or later (when I got the time) I will make it. So I made some drawings of locations for the game. Besides that some other paintings I made for school.

Nice to see your sketchbook! Your self portrait is a great leap forward!
I thik you have a good eye for art, but try to loose the small brush strokes in your paintings. Vary your brush size more often to get better results and work more efficient.
Good luck with your work and keep it up!

Yeah, Experimenting with brushes will be the next step, for now I have only used the standard round brush... That will be something for my Jaguar Tribe designs
