Feedback on ceramic art
New to this forum, it seems that much of the work, or all, is digital. As I originally started out pursuing 3D animation, I am very much inspired by digital work and respect the opinion of the digital community. As such I am hoping I can gain some constructive feedback and perspective on my work which I have posted on my blog at idioart.blogspot.com
I appreciate any feedback that comes my way!
Here is an example of my work-in-progress:

I like it... but sculpture is very subjective, so I don't know what kind of feedback I can give... is there a specific goal or aim for this piece?
As a 'from the hip' reaction, I like what you're doing at the base. The way the foot of the pot skews and the bulbous formation (is there another on the opposite side?) ... it brings interest, lends a kind of balance to the top of the work which obviously demands attention - well played.
I wonder about the top of the pot, where it connects to the bottom of that long stem... I almost wish it was blended seamless, or perhaps had a ring that mimics the foot ring but at a different angle. I'm interested in angles this week though, lol, so there it is.
All in all, it's interesting... are you going to glaze?
Just some thoughts, glad to see some sculpture here!

This might be better received and get more feedback in the 3d and sculpture section. Might want to check it out.
