Hey don't worry - do you have photoshop and a graphics tablet? If not then it may be easier for you to work on a finished line art for your stage 2.

If you do have Photoshop and have any specific questions on how to go about colour work just let me know. First thing would be to put your lineart as the top layer and set it to 'multiply' then do your base colours on lower layers and highlights/shadows in mid layers. Basically any new element to the pic you think might be tricky, put in a new layer and you don't risk ruining something you've already sorted! If you are already up with layers etc then feel free to ask more specific stuff

    Have fun!

Oh yeah I have a tablet and PS and stuff, it's just my colour theory, I've not painted enough from life yet to understand what would affect colours from my mind I said I'd block them in tonight but I was out with friends D: Probably tommorow

    Hello all

I've decided to put the stage 2 of the dynamic Batman challenge on hold for now due to how busy people are etc - but don't worry it will be back soon!

Hey everyone - sorry it's takin so long to get this back up and running!

I'm just needing to take a bit of time to get myself sorted at the mo :/

Please - if anyone is interested in treating this Stage 2 like a stand-alone challenge then post your interest here and if a few 'sign up' then we'll just see what everyone comes up with as a final piece

any media / styles welcome etc

Hey Tobba - I really like the pic

It has a really good atmosphere of Batman just 'going about his daily business' of being awesome and dynamic!

It's a nice touch being done in watercolour too

A little work on your anatomy and proportions and you're rocking

I think the things I like the best are the minimal detail as a whole - keeping it simple is cool - and the volume of space in the pic.

    Nice one!

Thanks. That's a lot more praise than I expected

Yeah. The anatomy could be touched up and stuff... Practice makes cookies, or whatever you say

Ok peoples I will soon be breathing life into the dynamic challenges again so if anyone (not just those who were entering before) is interested in submitting a piece then please go for it and as soon as I have 4-5 pieces that people indicate are finals (any medium any style) I'll put them in a poll

    Lets get Dynamic!

    Hey you're welcome Wixxi

Common CA peoples - we've got 2 final submissions now so 2 or 3 more and we'll have enough for the poll. Remember ANY style, ANY medium and ANY level of skill is welcome - all you have to draw is Batman and a vehicle with a dynamic element.

    All the best

Hey Death ogre - Although my dynamic challenges normally have only a week for roughs and a week for finals there's no deadline with this challenge so no worries

    Nice work Death ogre!

    Dynamic and moody!

1 more submission and I'll put up the poll - real shame I'm most likely not able to submit a piece for this challenge - but if I do find the time I will

Ok decided I really wanted to enter something at least so just a quick toon - not sure if it's quite 'dynamic' enough lol!

Batman is re-enacting a dynamic situation
