A few hours practice, I thought it was pretty cool, maybe I will finish it up.
Let me know what you think.
Johnny24: Thanks! I will try to be more productive.
This is a paintover of one of my pieces done by John English during my portfolio review. The difference is striking! I think that I will have to go back over my stuff after all that I learned from Jason, John and George during the reviews. They are incredibly helpful!
Some nice studies in here.
You render metal really well.
Tef: Thanks so much! I really appreciate it.
Kambei: Thanks, man! I will keep pushing! I checked out your SB, love the enviros, they are quite realistic.
I gotta tell you, I am no fan of the attachment manager. It's always losing my uploads and why do I need to have 4 levels of categories? Can't there just be a default setting? Do people search for images by category?
I hope that this gets fixed someday, it would just be nice to do painless batch uploads.
Okay, enough complaining. more art.
Some quick figures in perspective at eye level.
I build this kind of stuff every once in a while. I should post some pics of the real thing someday.
A re-visit to an old work. Trying to polish up the portfolio a bit and see if there are any old works that I could make better. I think that it reads better now, composition might be a little more solid. Not sure about the lens flare and I might need to ditch the heavy rim light on it's right side, it's supposed to be from the moon, the other rim light should be obvious that it's from the light house. Thanks for looking!
