    Ask and yee shall receive...

I'm extending the deadline one week, because there were more interruptions than I figured. I want this to go to poll with some entries.

I got hung up, too. We had to move the horses to a new barn this week and it was a time-eating bitch...

Deadline is now January 18th, and I better see some results from all the people who piped up originally....

Yeah... I know... you're pissed because you stayed up the last three days straight to get something in on time...

    I'm sorry, Sunshine...

With the extra week, I might try to do something with this.

But I'd feel bad for entering a piece that I did in one week, when everyone else spent like a month and a half on theirs. Like I'd be insulting them or something by having the nerve to think I'm up to par.

    Dilemma.

'Cuz life is full of your regrets, and I should be one...

Puppy, don't worry about it. A lot of people who said they were working on it lied. They always wait til last minute. I'm hoping to get enough for a poll, so the guys who pull it off in just one week are going to shine. I've only got one drawing done for mine, and mine's a relatively simple approach, but just had too many other things to do, so basically, I'm doing mine in less than a week, too. I think the subject matter scared off a lot of people, too...

    Go on. Insult me.

With an extra week, it looks like you all will be forced to see my third page. Now look what you've done.

I sincerely would like to see you get two pages at least penciled for this Sundance. When you show us something it is generally pretty good. Don't be so much of a tease.

I have a ton of client meetings and work to do between now and the deadline so the two pages I post tomorrow will be the total of my finals I am afraid. At least I put in more attention to detail than I customarily do, and I color them this time. Mine, as usual, stretch "sequential" a bit, and I think Sundance's more formal American-looking style will probably draw eyes in the poll.

I got my photocopies finally so I can show my finals. I still haven't worked out the cropping thing, so apologies in advance about that. These are my finals. I have to go out of town.

Now post something you guys. How hard can it be to talk about yourself when you are allowed to make up stuff? If you can read Mayan, mine claims I am something like the son of Sky God K. (Yeah Right!)

Geez, I thought I'd get at least two pages. I made crappy thumbnails of what I wanted to do, so if I don't finish even one page, I'll show you those. -_- I'm sorry.

Ilaekae, so sorry!! This is all i could come up with for the past 1 1/2 days. Looks so unfinished. Next time i'll start earlier. (I hope the sizes are alright.)

Basically this is about me trying to get better in art. I really do have a loooong way to go from where i am now, and i hope that this year, i would improve more than i did last year. *gravitating towards the light*
This also means that i really still do wanna fulfill my childhood dream of conquering Everest.

Y'did good, Sham'... (and arttorney) Mine will be going up tonight late, and they're not complete either, even though I went B&W for a change...

Jazz', post what you have so we can see it. This is the hardest of all the Challenge Sections, so we don't worry about embarrassing ourselves here...

    We like attitude here.

Shamandalie and JazzW, after you try this a time or two (and fall short of your expectations) you could become great because of your determination.

Just don't fall short of your expectations too much. It's seemingly habit forming.

Ooh, i rarely check the POW, cos the subjects don't often appeal to me. Hehe, and now i find this one just too late. I guess it'll be one for the 'late submissions' - thread.

Btw, where's all the art? It seems like there was extra time and it's already monday afternoon on this side of the planet... Boooo!

Sorry Cookie', I'm late because ice on the local electric lines shut me down. I'll have the poll up in about 1/2 an hour, and the new topic right after it.

So I just ran with it yesterday, before that electricity crap happened. Couldn't even put the words in. I was gonna put them in Photoshop.

    Awwww, thanks, Sundance!

Hee hee! Shame on us both! But hey, you've done plenty already, I saw! @_@ This is the first time I posted anything in a challenge, even though it's late! XD

Oops, forgot to say what this is about! See, I feel like I am trapped in my life...in the comic's case, my room. It's very cluttered. XD I should clean it more. I'm stuck doing computer science stuff, I'm stuck not being able to go everywhere I please because of my eyesight...it would've been a dramatic comic. XD

    P O W Challenge 18 I AM

Ok, I understand. Thanks for your answer.

Another question: may I use any Shabby Pickle product from the store and recolor it in the assigned colors for the Gherkin Hues Challenge or should the product used be these colors?
