    Rubbadub's sketchbook

Well, I've been lurking this site for quite some time, figured it's about time to start posting my own "art" on here. I hope to get some good advice along the way.

Old stuff first... these were my kind of my highschool graduation pieces. I studied graphics design for the last 3 years there. I'm in my first year of art college now.
They're all "fantasy" pieces... more or less... the teaches suggested the theme because my sketches were all kind of strange imaginary creatures, you know, like 90% of the stuff on here ^^.
    I hate all of these...

There are a few more which I don't have with me...

    Completely random stuff...

    Wow, this is good
Even the first ones are great!

I like your sketches, it's very clean and your work has a cartoon feel around, which your teacher must've seen too. I think your style fit most of your work here, it has a side that's...adorable, even (I think) for people who probably aren't into this sort of thing.

Keep working! just...Good luck XD I want to see more

    Thanks Muzz ^^
Yeah they're a bit rushed and unref'd, I was hesitant to show them here. Still... do you have any specific pointers for me to keep in mind for the next time?

Anyway small update... school exams kind of forced me out of my drawing rythm, I need to get into it again...

Great work, man, love those little graphical elements and simple brushstrokes you use. Looks a bit like Nic and Jens' stuff actually. Thanks for the advice in my sketchbook, really appreciate it!
